TheTotalPackage
I do not know if DT has a nickname already. A search on this site caused the browser to freeze therefore did not yield any results. So, forgive me if this topic has already been done. Now, on to the point. DT's play on 3rd and 2 yesterday was electricifying. The way he put clown suits on those would be tacklers by juking and jiving and causing them to bump into and fall overthemselves was downright comical. (can someone find and post the play somewhere and post it in here?) i'm not a huge fan of streetball (popularized by And-1) because i think it encourages kids to showboat and not build proper fundamentals. but there's no denying the skill this one guy has. he has made a career of breaking ankles, juking folks out of their socks and making people look stupid; and that play reminded me of him. They call him Hot Sauce So there it is folks. From this day, henceforth, I propose that DT be referred to as Hot Sauce! Yea or Nay?

@DCGoldPants
appreciate the effort. Just don't get why people feel players need nicknames. They just happen. Ask George...errr...T-Bone.
jflow78
My best friend shared lockers with DT at Coffeyville Community College. He said his nickname there was "Showtime".

skinzWILL
He already has the nickname SHOWTIME. As you can see its on his website http://thomas11.com/ Hot Sauce is a LEGEND its never good to give someone a nickname that someone already used especially not such a lofty one. LoudMouth12thMan
Isn't that something that Bart Scott uses as a term about hitting someone really hard? I think people affiliate "hot sauce" with Bart Scott or Suggs...heard it before and I'm pretty sure that's where, in Baltimore.
skins island connection
Hot Sauce? I like "Blue Moon" better; like Devin, it only shows up once a month or so...

As you can see its on his website http://thomas11.com/Hot Sauce is a LEGEND its never good to give someone a nickname that someone already used especially not such a lofty one. haha..yeah, i thought about that. but streetball is kind of a niche sport and the masses don't know about them or the players in it. for the most part only those who fit a certain demographic know about Hot Sauce, so i figured i was safe. Warhead36
Nicknames should only be given to studs. Unless you're just a laughable joke like Rod 50-50 Gardner.
IS guhn RAIN
NayI like: Devin eleven I also like Doc Walker's nicknames for him: Wildchild I also like Redshirt when he screws up i actually like Devin Eleven. Chachie
nay. I'm not of the opinion that every player needs a nickname No offense intended to TTP but I agree. These threads rarely end up stamping a player. That kind of thing comes from inside the locker room.
grhqofb5
I wouldn't give this guy a nickname yet. Rest assured, he'll probably give himself a nickname soon, right after he thanks his hands for "being so great" a la Freddie Mitchell.

mi6
No! You kidding right?! "Hot Sauce" is too fruity... A better nickname would be Devin "Hitman" Thomas
TheTotalPackage
hitman would be more appropriate being given to a defensive player...like jack tatum, maybe. like an above poster said, the original "hot sauce" is a legend and should a player be so called that, it would be an honor. monkeezgob
What on earth has Devin Thomas done since he's been here to justify ANY type of nickname? Oh wait I forgot, we're 3-6, but we beat the Broncos...paloffs is now!
