daviddsims
Did anyone see the end of the Pats Jets game? He brought all out blizes on almost every play against Brady. Man what I wouldnt do to have a gutsy d coordinator.

MDRedskinsFan
Rex Ryan's gameplans are proof that defensive coordinators who believe in the prevent and 10-15 yard cushions don't belong in this league and should be replaced. Yes I'm looking at you Greg Blache!
FrFan
I like when coaches have the guts to call multiple blitzes. They got to Brady only once but he got crappy stats.

daviddsims
Our guys never get there on blitzes for some reason. Seems like with Greg W. we were better but still not great at getting there.
pray4surf
I watched that last play and thought the same thing.
daviddsims
When will d coordinators learn that for every one game lost for tough press D there are 10 lost for playing prevent and soft zones.
RenegadeTK
ATN..... but yeah. i wish we would throw some exotic blitzes in the gameplan
Hunter_R
We bring blitzes like that too. The only difference is that ours don't get through most of the time. That's because the other team sees them coming a mile away.

ixcuincle
Yeah Dan Dierdorf was like the Jets aren't doing that prevent ****, they're going all out Good job Jets
NYJWhiteNGreen
It was awesome to see that game play today. 1st half Sanchez and Co. were looking lost on offense but then Thomas Jones began to find holes, and by the end of the 1st half Jets found a rhythm. 2nd Half was a different beast, Sanchez was cooking from the get go and he was making smart plays(Taking a sack rather than do a Favre and force ****) and we did just enough. The Jets D looked so scary though. Especially with how Houston lit TEN up this week at TEN(Our next opponent, and if they play like they did today they will be 0-3). This was without Calvin Pace, our best pass rusher. Scott, Harris, REVIS, Rhodes, Ellis, JENKINS all these guys were so nasty today. Add some smaller guys like Leonard, and Sheppard and Lowery and this squad has been something else this year. Really hyped after today's game. Such a far cry of coaching methods from last year and this year of Mangini and Ryan. Mangini/Sutton cried for Prevent D and the bend but dont break D while Ryan just wants smash mouth football all around and his guys to hit anyone in sight. FanboyOf91
Holding Moss to 4 catches, 24 yards, 0 TDs = great D. :applause: to Ryan for taking risks.
pvkeeper19
It's official: Dirty Sanchez is better than Tom Brady.

Man what I wouldnt do to have a gutsy d coordinator. When you have the pieces in place to play such a way, it's a lot easier. Not many teams would get away with that many blitzes vs. Brady and Co. That said, Brady still doesn't look like himself this season. I wonder if he ever will.
NoVaSkins21
I was reading about the fact that he was giving credit to the fans and I'm thinking: Man, is this guy cool or what! The Jets with Sanchez this year may be what the Steelers were in Big Ben's first year.
ke27on
i honestly kinda wish he was our coach. The confidence flows down, even if they prob are a bit overconfident, they arent playing scared.

MattFancy
Too bad we didn't bring him in here. He seems to have a ton of confidence, I don't see that in Zorn or any of our other coaches for that matter.
JdoubleU
That coach is all about winning. It goes to show if you pressure the QB, you can make things happen.
SkinsFTW
It's pretty ballsy for what was considered a bad team like the Jets to go and talk **** about Belichick and the best offense in NFL history and then go out and shut them completely down. Especially with what Brady said. Talk is cheap, bring it on the field. Too bad we got Zorn and his stay medium garbage.
ixcuincle
The "transforming debt into wealth" guy? The Georgia Tech and Notre Dame defensive coordinator, known for his blitz packages. And his defense is doing very well right now at Notre Dame. By "very well" I mean horribly...
