Knowing who it is after the fact its obviously him. But I had to cheat and look up all the 75s in history.

Is that a 2 bar facemask Joe T is wearing or maybe an illusion with the top of his jersey.

Interesting to see our punter was our placekicker that day. I saw pics of DJ practicing kicks in pregame and assume since it was a blowout in the last game Allen decided to let the guys have some fun.

I didn't realize he was drafted in '74. That was Theismann's rookie year and it looks like he came in the game late (in a route) to relieved Sonny.

Listening to John Keim podcast interview with Greg Cosell.   Cosell is curious how they implement the running game with Kingsbury offense.  Also he likes Daniels but he said

Maye has a stronger arm.  He said Daniels can stay in the pocket until and do his reads and he will leave the pocket when his blocking breaks down.  He avoided commenting on Kingsberry as an offensive minded coach.   He likes Dan Quinn who knows the defense.  He said Commanders do not have an explosive back right now.  He likes Brian Robinson.

We have grinder type running backs.  Keep score low so quarterback does not have to win it in late 4th quarter.  He likes the fact that Daniels is a poised and composed player.

Aaron Rodgers had a much stronger arm than Tom Brady....but which one had the better career and multiple superbowls?   Arm strength is waaaaay overrated.....

Terry deserves so much more than what he's had thus far in his career. Here's hoping we can turn it around and he gets to experience some consistent winning (newly uploaded career highlights):

And here is a list of the 10 QB's he's played with.

Case Keenum, Dwayne Haskins, Colt McCoy, Alex Smith, Kyle Allen, Taylor Heinicke, Garrett Gilbert, Ryan Fitzpatrick, Carson Wentz and Sam Howell.

It is and it isn’t.

Every successful NFL QB has a baseline good NFL arm.

Of you don’t (Like our buddy Hallock) you essentially can’t play in the league for very long. Or very successfully.

Once you get over the bare minimum of having an NFL arm, great players can have “good” NFL arms.  Brady, Peyton, Brees, Montana, Young etc all had good NFL arms.

Elway, Favre, Marino and Rodgers had bazookas.

But there isn’t a good NFL QB with a weak arm.  Except Peyton for the last half of his final season, when he couldn’t throw a ball through a pane of glass.  And they still won the SB.  But that’s more the exception which proves the rule than anything.

Can't remember when the NBC deal started but it was way before my time following the team in HS in 2001.

The team was on NBC for nearly the whole Snyder era.

Get the mini-ex ASAP, Life is too short not to get the toy that strikes your fancy. I loved my old Ford 4600 and I kept it for 25 years, but this one makes me smile. Just do it brother!

A guy I knew just passed away and his hot daughter, that I am friends with moved back to island to go through his stuff. She asked me to come check out his tools and in the backyard is about the biggest a mini ex can be and still be considered a mini. If I get it running (it ran when parked 3 years ago), it's mine pretty cheap. There are so many tools! He built his own pretty big house and bought all the tools to do it.

Hot daughters and diesel fuel are the makings of a great country song. Hope you can get both of them running

Love it! And the vid is the perfect segway to my post! I have never posted in this thread, so MODS please feel free to move my post if it's not appropriate in this thread. Thanks

Ok ES'ers, it's time to put your money down on our team to get the best odds with the Sportsbook of your choice, weather it be FanDuel, VegasInsider, etc., before the season kicks off.
Being the homer that I am, and some other members of my family who are likewise homers, we pooled our money(500.00) to bet the best returns on the most likely reasonable shots.
Mind you, they all have one thing in common, and that's that Jaden Daniels is the real-deal and stays healthy to ball-out and finish the season. I will explain as I go as to what we bet.

Bet 1.) 120.00 on the OVER that Jaden Daniels regular season passing yards exceeds 3075.5 yards this season. At -112 odds, the 120.00 will net 107.14 over the initial wager.
-This is the lowest odds of all our bets, which means Vegas sees it as obtainable to some degree. Once we added up everyone's yards that will be catching passes this year, we felt Jaden will be in excess of 4K

Bet 2.) 130.00 on the OVER that the Washington Commanders win more than 6.5 games. At -115 odds, the 130.00 will net 113.04 over the initial wager.
-This is still fairly low odds so feels like Vegas feels it's doable. (*Note: This is just FanDuel odds in this post, I've since found other sites give better odds, so I will shop where my money buys the most!) All of my family feel that we can win between 9 and 11 games this year.

Bet 3.) 50.00 on YES that the Washington Commanders make the playoffs. At +290 odds, the 50.00 will net 145.00 over the initial wager.
-All it takes is for us to clinch a wildcard spot, and we feel it's doable.

Bet 4.) 30.00 on Yes that we will score a touchdown in every regular season game. At +370 odds, the 30.00 will net 111.00 over the initial wager.
-Hell, Jaden will have this done 50% of the time on his own! Not to mention T-Mac, B-Rob, Ekeler and the rest. (*on a side note, I think Rosmey-Jacksaint makes the team and becomes a red-zone possession receiver for us)

Bet 4.) 80.00 on YES that Jaden Daniels will be the AP NFL offensive rookie of the year. At +650 odds, the 80.00 will net 520.00 over the initial wager.
-10 out of the last 20 offensive rookies of the year have been QB's. I think we nabbed the greatest!

Bet 5.) 20.00 on YES that the Washington Commanders beat the Cowboys twice this year in the regular season, both at home and away. At +1000 odds, the 20.00 will net 200.00 over the initial wager.
-Look folks, as I have said before, we will never have the inside scoop on any team (ever) as we have on the Cowboys THIS YEAR. DQ, Whitt, Dorance Armstrong (and a few others I can't remember at the moment) know this Dallas team like the back of their hands. DQ and Whitt will scheme up W's in both these divisional games. Get the popcorn ready!!!

Bet 6.) 20.00 on YES that the Washington Commanders win the NFC East. At +1000 odds, the 20.00 will net 200.00 over the initial wager.
-Even though it's not the longest odds of the bunch, I feel this one is the hardest hill to climb for our team. So much needs to go right. But, look at it this way...Look at the galactic course of events which had to play out, in succession, for us to be at this moment where we find ourselves at now. I will go as far as to say there's Divine Intervention at play when we are finally released from a 25yr curse to this team, have RR give-a-flip and hit rock bottom, get bought by the 'HOG' group no less, who are lifelong fans of our beloved team, hire the BEST hungry GM, hire the BEST HC who everyone in the NFL, whether player or coach, wants to play for, get this core front office together in time to NAIL free agency and then NAIL the draft better than we EVER did, and walk away with our FRANCHISE QB of the future! After ALL THAT, winning the division seems kind of an anti-climax, lol.

Bet 7.) 50.00 on YES that Dan Quinn will be the AP regular season coach of the year. At +2500 odds, the 50.00 will net 1250.00 over the initial wager.
-OK, the way I see this is that if Jaden Daniels is rookie of the year, that means he's been outstanding and we are winning. If we are winning, we can get to the playoffs. If we reach the playoffs even without a playoff win, then DQ has an extremely good chance of being the coach of the year!

Now, I will sum up by saying that I/WE are not a gambling family and did this group-pool because we don't really ever do something like this. Everyone decided to risk a little, what they were comfortable losing...because chances are, Vegas wins, lol. And in the past, I had a rule never to bet on my team because it hurt bad enough when they lost, and to lose money on top of it was too much to bear. But I think we ALL had to hit rock-bottom for this curse to finally be over. And after almost 10 years of walking away from the team after week 3(because, hey, my health and peace-of-mind are much more valuable than watching my guys get the **** beat out of them every week), I/WE decided to live a little and enjoy this most wonderous time as fans...GETTING OUR TEAM BACK!!!

Jury enters $4.096 billion verdict against NFL in Sunday Ticket class action

The chickens have come home to roost. And the NFL is gonna need a bigger roost.

After thirty years of gouging fans for Sunday Ticket in order to persuade plenty of them to watch whatever was made available on free, over-the-air TV, the reckoning has arrived in the form of a $4.096 billion verdict in a federal class action lawsuit.

Of that amount, $96 million goes to the commercial establishments in the class. The $4 billion becomes the recovery for residential customers.

Under federal antitrust laws, the amount will be trebled — to $12.288 billion.

The verdict comes after roughly a full day of deliberations, which started on

Wednesday and continued into Thursday. Roughly 35 minutes before news of a verdict emerged, Megan Cuniff reported that the jury had asked for the number of subscribers per year and the amount each one paid. This meant that the jury had found against the NFL and was in the process of coming up with a damages award.

Hmm, I've been ordering sunday ticket for 30 years now.

If this doesn't get overturned on appeal I might get a nice little check from Mr goodell. Lol.

Very random. Is the hit Sean Taylor had against a scrimmage anywhere online? Can't remember the year. But it was at Ravens stadium.

Wasn't a preseason game either. Just a full team scrimmage

Man, watching this video shows that Bob Irsay was just a louder version of our former owner. A good example of how insane he was is shown at 33:00.

There's an annoying lag, but it's still pretty watchable.

Yeah, This was my first thought. Think Erin Brockovitch. It will be tied up on appeal for a decade or more. At least until our currency is worthless and we are bartering with cows, pigs and chickens. You might get a few chickens. But at least you can have a nice BBQ on a Sunday afternoon while you watch our NEW team wreak havoc on the NFCE.

With the recent talk about expanding the regular season games to 18 from the current 17, I would like to see a new rule implemented. This seems like the perfect time to toss this out and have it start gathering steam. If the NFL is gonna force teams to play one more regular season game, then they need to get something out of it.

I would like to see challenge flags added to our HC's arsenal for non-calls during the game, by refs who suck at their jobs. Which is to say: If T-Mac is running his route, and is getting mugged so badly by a DB that his wallet and car keys are missing, and he's unable to catch the pass as a result of the blatant PI, then DQ has a red flag to challenge the non-call and send the replay to NY.

I am surprised that this challenge doesn't exist already. I'd be willing to bet that if polled right now across the entire NFL fan base and all players and coaches, that support for this would be well over 80%.

I would even go so far as to add cash penalties to refs who are outrageously bad at their jobs.

When watching CFL games, I noticed coaches did have a challenge for this.  Review was quick and DPI was called.
