Most improved player in 2009

I tried searching and the google search, but couldn't find anything... Sorry if this is a thread that comes up annually which I should have just bumped.

-With training camp right around the corner, I was wondering who everyone thinks will really step there game up this year and I am referring to all Redskins players, even if you think its CP who's going back to Denver form and gonna break some big one's again...

-I personally think it's Carlos Rogers, I always thought he would pan out as a good pick, even through his rough seasons. What I like about Carlos is he always seems to be in place to make a play, yes he has had stone hands up to this point, but he's also shut down some elite NFL receivers. I am hoping for a 4-5 pick s from him this season with the increased pass rush, which will certainly elevate his game, and I expect him to be shutting down Calvin in week 3. Hopefully, hopefully, getting an extension if the skins can somehow afford it.

-Who do you guys think will step it up this year?

In terms of how they played last year versus this year..... Devin Thomas

I was really keen on drafting the kid, and i still have faith in him. From what i've heard, read and seen, it appears as though he's taking a lot of steps in the right direction. I really feel like we will start seeing #11 on the field and making plays a lot. Also, his effectiveness will translate into moss getting free more often, JC being able to get rid of the ball quicker, and more.

Is it august yet?

I believe Colt Brennan is going to look so good that it will be impossible to keep him on the bench after a few games.

:hysterical:

I'd say Devin Thomas. He seems mentally and physically ready to step up, and we really need him to.

I think it will appear that JC has really stepped up but in reality it will be more everyone around him stepping it up and the team coming together that will be making him look improved. Just as this year he got all the blame... Next year he will be getting all the credit.

Personally.. I think Thomas and Kelly both have very good years!

Lets try and keep any QB debate out of here... If you think Campbell will succeed just say why, no need to go any further

-I hope all you guys are right about Thomas because if he steps it up that will make life easier for Moss, Portis, and Campbell. He definitely showed some athleticism on that reverse, but is he ever gonna quit it with the offensive PI?

I'm thinking Rogers as well. The guy is a very good cover corner, and I think the addition of Haynesworth and Orakpo could lead to more rushed throws and the potential for more interceptions. He just needs to hold onto a few of them.

The Campbell thing is too obvious.

Instead, I'm going to go with Chris Wilson, I'm hoping he was come in as a rush specialist on 2nd-3rd downs and post half a dozen sacks this season.

Devin Thomas would be nice too, fingers crossed there.

I would say Hall, as I'm optimistic he'll have something approaching a double digit INT year, but he's been a success since he's been here; so I'll plump for the best receiver out of last year's draft, and the one draftee from '08 I'm REAL excited about if he can keep out of the treatment room, Malcolm Kelly.

Hail.

Fixed :D

My pick is Malcolm Kelly who will get a look of looks in the red zone and third down.
