southeast jerome
I know it's on everyone's mind. Let's hear about Portis and Moss and the seriousness of their injuries against the Lions today. thanks to anyone who gets info
RyansRangers
they both seemed ok and given the 1 extra day hopefully they will be good
skinsfan07
they have a long week of rest and rehab before the monday nighter vs. Pitssburgh and then the bye after that. They'll be fine.
NOVA2Tampa
Moss looked like he just had a cramp...they were stretching him on the sideline. Dunno about Portis, but it didn't look too bad...he was back in the game after a few plays.
dfitzo53
Considering Portis came back into the game I'm not too worried. Moss looked like he was ok.
skinsngibbs4life
Portis came back out, so he should be good. Like others said 89 looked to just have cramped. I think they should be good to go next week.
DCranon21
Think Portis hyperextended something and Moss had a hammy cramp. They'll both be fine by next Monday night.
Monte51Coleman
Looked to me like Portis had the wind knocked out of him.
southeast jerome
hope you're all right. We're toast without Portis, I'm worried he'll end up with turf toe or something.
Voice_of_Reason
It's amazing how Monday Night Football can solve a lot of injuries. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WOmcLIzIuzc

With a cramp, the whole muscle locks up is an excruciating way, and you have to force it/stretch it in order for it to unlock. They were stretching and massaging him in a way that you don't stretch a cramp.
ddub52
Portis returned. I think he got the wind knocked out of him. moss would have returned if they needed him

terpfan
Portis is fine. I'm more concerned about Moss, just because it was a hamstring which he's had trouble with in the past. Didnt seem too serious though.
westcoasthog
Looked to me like Moss just got cramped up and Portis just got slammed on his back hard and it looked like he just got the wind knocked out of him. They'll both be fine!
iMeast
Those guys better be alright. With Ladell Betts and Malcolm Kelly out the Redskins are already a bit thin at both positions. :steelersu HTTR
jrfriedm
Portis came back into the game which is very ingeraging, however; it was very obvious today that Portis is not the back when he doesn't practice. That is what I'm more concerned about right now. Can he and will he practice this week?

It could have been a small cramp, just adding discomfort, and making it hard to run.
skin23
Cramp? Wind knocked out of him? Come on guys.... Santana pulled his hammy like every year..and anyone who's ever pulled a hammy knows those can linger for a while (i.e. Laron Landry in preseason). Leaving him out against Pitt I think is definitely going to be a big consideration with the bye coming up..Gee, maybe that's why you need other offensive weapons instead of wearing the guy out like a beat up car...75% of passing game, and now you want to put him on punt returns...geeze man and portis clearly turned his ankle...you could even see him after he went to the bench and sit down read his lips he said something like 'i rolled my ankle' or something along those lines...now if it's a high sprain, that sucks bigtime...a low one and we got lucky... speaking of injuries, what the heck is up with Samuels????????????????? Heyer cannot block campbell's back side worth jack and is going to get him killed..lost one fumble today from backside and was alomst going to be

Yes because 126 yards on 24 carries while your starting LT is out just isn't good enough.
RonArtest15
c'mon now...if it was a high ankle sprain, he wouldn't have gone back in....instead of playing armchair doctors, just wait until there is an official announcement.
lesto17
anybody heard in the post-game? Well Portis went back in and Santana's return was considered probable, so I wouldn't worry too much.
