StevieInferior
I am going to Vegas for the first time this weekend. Just wondering if there are any sports books or bars that skins fans frequent? Looking for a good spot to watch the game with fellow Skins fans. Thanks! :dallasuck:point2sky:dallasuck:point2sky:dallasuck:point2sky:dallasuck:point2sky:dallasuck

westcoasthog
The Venetian has a bar right outside the book. So you can sit there and see all the TVs. Atleast I think I daw that when I was there in August...It's Vegas...I never know what memories are real...

DButz65
Get to the ESPN Zone early and claim a comfy leather lazy boy style chair with speakers in the headrest right up front where all the screens are. Did that for the hall of fame game the year JG came back, had a blast. Then walked, err stumbled down to a small casino near Caesars, slid a 20 in a slot machine and won 1500$ :applause:
ExoDus84
There are sports books in ever major casino. I go to the south point occasionally to watch a game or two, but I stream the skins game at home usually, if its not on tv.
dcoles11
There is an ESPN Zone at the New York New York Casino. Don't forget the time difference! I almost did the first time I was out there, it was so wierd getting use to everything being on 3 hours earlier, NFL games starting at 10 am! royallypwned
Pretty random but...while you're in Vegas, put money on the Bills to destroy the spread in their game this week.
roger waters
I'll be there too. I'm staying at Treasure Island and will find a sports book in that area like Mirage or Caesars. Does anyone know there drink service, if betting in those three?
Inigo Montoya
Thanks for the info, even though I didnt start this thread... my wife and I are heading to Vegas for the first time (for her anyway) and we land in Vegas at 8:30 (earliest I could get in there) on Sunday when we play the Lions... so I only have 1:30 to find a spot to watch the game! Cycopath
there is a Redskins bar on Flamingo and Jones (less than $20 cab ride from the strip). of course there are the casinos with the sportsbook, but if you want skins fans, this is the only Redskins bar in town. Jackson's Bar and Grill at 6020 W Flamingo Rd. if i am not out of town, you can catch me there every sunday...if anyone wants to meet up there this weekend (or when in town) just PM me. Does anyone know there drink service, if betting in those three? Usually you ask the cashier for a drink card after making your bets. At the Wynn last week, they wanted $100 in bets for a drink card. Probably about the same at Mirage or Caesars. You'll like TI - I've stayed there a number of times and its one of the best deals on the strip. The only time I left the Wynn last week was to get a sandwich at Cantor's Deli at TI - the "Gary Cantor's Delight" is the best sandwich in the world, but don't get it unless you're really hungry or with a friend. RedskinsNation
I was just in Vegas for the Saints/Redskins game. We stayed at THE Hotel at Mandalay Bay. Ive been about 10 times in my life...stayed there every time except once. The sports book there is probably one of the top 3 in Vegas. Best thing to do is to get up at 8am and snatch one of the tables by the bar that overlooks the entire sportsbook and sits in front of the main 4 big screens. I was there for a bachelor party....with 3 others. We saw plenty of Redskins fans in the sportsbook that day. Fans from all teams were out....probably more Raiders/Chargers fans than anyone out there. Quite a few Redskins/Bears fans out there for whatever reason. They did away with the free drink tickets...now at Mandalay you have to bet on the damm horses to earn free drink tickets...i would just go gamble for a little while and drink your weight for free then stumble over to the book. Uptown Skins
What a coincidence. I will be in Vegas to this weekend for the first time. I was going to watch the game at the ESPN Zone, which is next to hotel in which I am staying(Excalibur). Of course I will be wearing my Redskins Jersey. gooseewo
I've been to Vegas for total of about 11 months on business since 1998. My favorite place is Belagio sport book. Drop $20, free drinks, munchies, and cigars all day in nice leather chairs. For a more cozy and more bar take on things, I love Texas Station (better tablesalso, but NOT on the strip) and great bar tenders. They will have it on a big screen, but sit at the bar, and have the bar tender tune it up on the small TV (listen to the small TV, watch it on the big on). Plus, it'll be during happy hour with $1 margaritas. They also have great food (wings are great there). Ceasars is the classic sport book, but it's over the top (some like it that way) plus reasonable prices on drinks (drop money on a bet and get some good drink vouchers--that goes for all the sports books). I like ESPNzone, but it's usually max out crazy busy on NFL sundays. Enjoy!!!
bubbaswolv
Go to jacksons to watch the game. There will be lots of redskins fans there and its a fun places to watch the game. In the sports book it hard to hear the game and there are alot of drunk fans from all teams watching.
