The unofficial results of who Extremeskins wants at #21 in the 2008 NFL Draft. Polling open until when Redskins draft. Will update results at that time and before Skins pick if they stay at #21.

Expect guys like Albert (G), Harvey (DE), McKelvin (CB), Cromartie (CB), Williams (OT), Clady (OT), Otah (OT) to be gone by the time we pick, based on consensus of most recent mock drafts. I tried to include most potential prospects that we could go for.

This is if we stay at #21, don't consider any trades up/down or any separate trades for vets.

If you select other, give your choice in the thread and reasons.

EDIT: Addition of prospect profiles.

If unable to trade, and forced to pick at 21, I would take Campbell.

None of the receivers are worth the 21st, and God knows we need a real pass rush for the first time in forever.

Edit: The guy has Manute Bol length arms, on an Andre the Giant body.

He is from Miami.....like most of our best players. When winter comes, unlike players in the north, he isn't running windsprints indoors in a basketball gymnasium. He is sweating on the natural grass under the hot sun.

The guy can go all 4 quarters. Think Warren Sapp, another cane, but nastier.

I'm really not sure of projections anymore..changes so much. I'd be ok with Calais Campbell or Aqib Talib...though they may really be more towards the bottom of the first or into the early second. DE or DB in the first and I wouldn't be disappointed. WR in second or 3rd.

Assuming Alberts is gone and none of the other O or D line prospects falls I have gone with Merling at #21. He looks a solid DE who is tough against the run and who will get you 5 or 6 sacks a year. Great replacement for Daniels. He will probably come inside to DT on passing downs with Chris Wilson as the rush end.

I would go with best available WR in the 2nd round - probably Jordy Nelson and then hope there is good O'line prospect in the 3rd. I would not be against taking a QB with our second 3rd round pick.

I voted "OTHER" because "None of the Above" wasn't listed as an option. Personally, I want the Redskins to trade down into the second round, even if it means takeing 25-30% less value in the trade to get out of the #21 pick.

If I absolutely HAD TO make a pick at #21 it would be Antione Cason.

Gosder Cherilus.... thats they key... a solid right tackle so that we can allow Heyer to focus his development solely on left tackle.... that will lead to the tackles being solid.

I like this kid also. Since Albert and Otah will be gone, I think he deserves a look.

If he's not available, then I would go DL.

def. not calias, his work ethic is awful and being a "U" fan i watch most of the games and he takes plays off. could be great but i dont think he wants it badly enough. i say take kenny philips (another U guy). they have been comparing him to the great sean t since he was a freshman. granted he is not the athlete sean was but he has the ball hawking ability and theres no doubt he makes plays. there is no note worthy d-lineman worth the 21, in dont kno why but i just dont like merling. plus we'll b able to get calias possibly in the 2nd which i fell is more realistic. dont waste a first on him:2cents:
