Larry Brown #43
For those who don't remember, Jim Zorn was Gus' QB coach in Detroit after Gus left Washington. I vividly recall Gus glowing about Coach Zorn back then. Gus is clearly not a starting QB in this league, but over the years he has proven to be one of the better QBs in the league at coming off the bench in relief situations. Might be interesting to see Gus back in DC as a backup to Campbell, reunited with Coach Zorn. Gus obviously loved his time here in DC (minus the headbutt incident). Plus, this would give all of those Skins fans who still have their "Frerotte 12" Redskins jerseys a chance to break them back out. I'm not sure what Gus' contract status is with St. Louis, but if he's under contract for next year, maybe we could trade a breakfast burrito for him or something. skinzzfan25
I wouldn't be surprised if Gus or Seneca Wallace comes into backup for JC.

Redskins4ever
I wouldn't mind seeing Gus Frerotte back. Mark Brunell is Jason's backup until further notice.

SoCalSkins
He was also Charlie Batch's QB coach in Detroit. The pedigree of guys he has taught is amazing.
CM916
I saw him get sacked on 4th and goal to lose a game for the Rams this year.
hail2skins
In a photo gallery in the Post they showed a picture from 2002 with Zorn and Rypien when Mark was with Seattle. Bring Ryp back!
Riggins77
I saw him get sacked on 4th and goal to lose a game for the Rams this year. Yeah, but that was with a Rams team with Orlando Pace and another O-line starter gone for the season along with a banged up Jackson. It happens. The Fourth King
Get Seneca Wallace! Trade Mark and a 5th rounder or something. Also burrito.
MSB 21
Since We are speculating, I'd rather see Patrick Ramsey come back as our QB2. He definitely had some heart in a futile offense.
zCommander
Gus Frerotte will be 37 by the start of the season. So is TC so not much diff there. TC and GF trade. That could work.
Larry Brown #43
Since We are speculating, I'd rather see Patrick Ramsey come back as our QB2. I'm not necessarily advocating for Gus to come back, I'm just saying it makes sense. He has a history with Zorn, and he has performed well when coming into games in relief situations over the years. He'd make a solid backup, I'd say.
SoCalSkins
So is TC so not much diff there. TC and GF trade. That could work. TC is a free agent. He can go wherever he wants. If he wants to compete as starter, he will have to find a team with someone worse than JC as starter. We might be his only option.
