emor09
Well, it seems like everyone on here wants a WR at some point in the draft. This guy is 6'0 172 lbs. and runs a 4.29 40. How many times have you watched a Bear's game and seen teams kick away from Hester and they get good field position? or they kick to Hester, and he makes them pay. DeSean can be another Hester! I know most of you want a 6'4 210 lb reciever for 3rd downs and redzone, but Jackson is like a younger, faster, and taller Santana. watch some of these videos to see his skills http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=y-cZsfr_Jd4&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U7_5SFxyniY&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tpaV2IxXQK0&feature=related *my favorite
voicekiller
I would take him in the second or 3rd but we still need to focus on a stud DE in the first
Kevin101
I would take him in the second or 3rd but we still need to focus on a stud DE in the first Hes projected as an early to mid first round pick....
zoony
Yah I remember watching him in the season opener against TN. That guy is explosive. Where is he projected to go in the draft? And what kind of route runner is he?
Stadium-Armory
So is the "other jackson". Dexter jackson from Appalachia State: http://sports.aol.com/fanhouse/2008/01/16/nfl-draft-dick-vermeil-loves-appalachian-state-wr-dexter-jackso/ Too bad they're both short - they won't pass the "we need a tall receiver" test around here.. earl
desean jackson = Tedd ginn Jr. please, please, please NOOOOOO! he's got potential there is no doubt. but he is either a 1st and 2nd round bust or slips and becomes a 3rd or 4th round steal. Sawyer5500
All those videos were punt returns. We need a receiver more then a special teams threat.

Ginn was more a straight-ahead burner type guy. He never had the shiftiness and elusiveness in those videos.
voicekiller
Hes projected as an early to mid first round pick....projections are good but don't tell the whole story, look at last years draft AP was projected first 3 picks went 7th, and there are many other examples...Brady Quinn, etc...If he makes it to the second round i would consider him
Morneblade
DE and OL first and foremost. I wouldn't touch this guy in the first 2 rounds.
warren
My favorite highlight was of him at the U.S. Army All-American Bowl. He had a walk in touchdown...but decided to try somersaulting into the endzone from 5 yards out. Yup, he came up a yard short.... I laughed. onnie007
Hes projected as an early to mid first round pick.... Exactly why we won't get him. I really like Limas Sweed but I realize we really need help on our DL. I say take Calais Campbell in the 1st and then draft Marcus Monk of Arkansas in the 2nd (or possibly even the 3rd depending on how many WRs come off the board). http://insider.espn.go.com/nfldraft/draft/tracker/player?id=11557 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OvGi3NSJUuE http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TWugld7QR8s&feature=related http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=exAswX5w1wU http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=btDR0IVnrtg
Santana_Fan
If he makes it to the second round, pick him up. We do need a receiver, and Randle El plays around too much on punt returns.
Clinton Portis # 26
I wish people would stop asking to draft a reciever in the 1st Rd....we need a D-Line and CB more than WR.
#98QBKiller
I hope to god we don't use our first round pick on a WR. We need help in the trenches first.
emor09
If he makes it to the second round, pick him up. We do need a receiver, and Randle El plays around too much on punt returns. thats one of the main reasons i want him Randle El doesnt have elite speed, and returns like he does so many times this season i wanted Santana to return punts
Veretax
He will not be there for us so I'm not worried.

Desean Jackson is projected early to mid first round...any team that needs an explosive WR/KR/PR can use him.
4daskins
Jackson will be gone in the top 15 picks. Everyone is searching for the next Devin Hester.
Robbnva
I would rather have Marcus Monk http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4247354992929362657&q=%22marcus+monk%22&total=13&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0u9HN5wvceY http://video.google.com/videoplay?docid=4247354992929362657&q=%22marcus+monk%22&total=13&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0 (this one has highlights throughout but it is a little long)
Timmy Smith
I live in Berkeley and go to all the Cal Bears home games, and have watched DeSean play his whole college career. I'd LOVE if we could pick him, but I can't see any way he'll fall to the 21 slot in the draft. The kid is sickeningly fast -- his acceleration is world class. Pass-catching ability is above average but not perfect, but once he has the ball and is in space, he's gone, every time.
Skinsfor4
BPA on D is what I suspect we will draft, hopefully that's a DE.
PleaseBlitz
At the beginning of this college football season i said Jackson was the next Hester, only better. He and Cal were not on the national radar this year, so i have no idea. I dont think he fills a position of need for us. We already have small WR's. KWILLVILLE
Yeah he isn't the pick for us, but those clips were sick, hopefully we won't have to kick it to him too often in the near future.
chiplohmillers#1
I would take him in the second or 3rd but we still need to focus on a stud DE in the first Good idea. Lets take a guy that has a top 10 draft grade and then pick him up in the 2nd or 3rd round. I swear you guys think the redskins have the golden ticket or something.
