d0ublestr0ker0ll
Personally, I wouldn't even take free tickets to a game there now. I would end up bashing somebody's face in with a huge wrench or something. I'd go ape**** if those ****ers tried me.
HailRiggoRanger
ljsheeley, Congrats! It sounds like you got a competent rep. Would it be possible to get Chris' number? I submitted a complaint after the 2006 game, in which I saw a Seattle fan assault a female. I turned in the guy's seat number, but I never received a response from the Seahawks org. Want to see what happened to my complaint.
Reaganaut
Very cool. The rep has a PR front to keep up so the pulling the hair, screaming in the eardrums, pushing incidents which were reported here are probably not going to be acknowledged. Still, a good response. I will never attend a game up there though. I'd sooner show up in Philly as a transvestite cowgirl cheerleader then deal with drunk Seattle fans. The national media will pick up on this at some point when ESPN magazine does a feature on worst NFL venues.
stwasm
For those that read the "Seattle Experience" letter that I wrote, I did get a response from the Seahawk organization. I spoke with a rep from their customer relations dept last night. While he was very apologetic about what happened, he did believe that some of us may be over exaggerating our claims (he said he didn't believe anyone really got beer thrown on them, maybe spilled.) As far as the jerk who was harassing Mike Sellers' family, he is banned for life at any Qwuest (Sp?) field event. They are able to track all tickets sold, who sold them and where they live. This guy was from Portland, Oregon. He is not a season ticket holder, but does go to numerous games. (Not anymore!) The rep, Chris, said he would be willing to talk to anyone of us who experienced this behavior. If you can point out what seat the person was in, they will be banned from the stadium. Chris also said that they have banned more people than any other stadium. Hmm....interesting. Lastly, he did tell me to call him back when I want tickets to a game. It pays to speak up! The folks at Stinkin' Financial Field could learn a thing or two from these guys! Way to go!
Joe Sick
"Complaining to the organization is uselss". Well, obviously NOT, I'm getting free tickets to the next game... So you had an awful experience but are still looking forward to going back, with free tickets? Sounds like you are a glutton for punishment... Mark The Homer
You only get harassed because you allow yourself to get harassed. Assert yourself to these people WHEN it's happening and it stops being an issue. Complaining to the organization is useless. You obviously don't go to many road games. Special K
I'm very glad you recieved a repsonse from them, that was nice. I realize that these types of situations occur at various NFL stadiums nationwide (regretably, sometimes our stadium), but it seemed as though there were a lot more of these incidents than "normal" in Seattle

Tailgate Ted
I have actually written a letter to the Mayor of Seattle describing my trip out there and how horrible it was. I guess I'll see if I get a response.

phatboy41
thats pretty sweet... I would love to go to the next game at Seattle when we play them next year. It's still an area I would really like to visit, even though the fans sucked. But, that was a good job by you for speaking up, and a good job by the Seahawks front office to react like that. aussieskin
how exactly do they keep people out of a stadium? All he has to do is get a ticket from a scalper or a friend using cash and he is set. Camera's show people coming into the stadiums, these are then checked against known criminals at large and persons of interest to Police and the FBI etc, when the picture matches a known wanted person it alerts the security people to his/her whereabouts and they are arrested escorted out or whatever. This software has been available for some time now, and is also used at airports.
SkinsFTW
Camera's show people coming into the stadiums, these are then checked against known criminals at large and persons of interest to Police and the FBI etc, when the picture matches a known wanted person it alerts the security people to his/her whereabouts and they are arrested escorted out or whatever. This software has been available for some time now, and is also used at airports. But since 99.9999% of these people are never arrested, only sometimes thrown out of a single game, there is no record of anything and no pictures of them to scan into any software. Besides, I think the guy he talked to on the phone is just blowing smoke up his ass. They probably didn't ban anyone from coming to games. Without a conviction, I don't see how they could anyway. And it's not like he has to prove any of this to you, he can just say, "Yada, Yada, we're taking care of these bad fans, Yada, Yada, and people just believe it. People just had beer "spilled" on them after all.
bignole
I am glad you wrote to them, but unfortunately nothing will change. I have been to SEATTLE twice..2005 and 2007, Never AGAIN. If my wife was not with me, I would have went to JAIL for knocking out a SEAGULL FAN. I had to control myself. On two occassions a so called fan got in my face yelling" skins suck, TAYLOR sucks. YES we have some butt hole fans at fedex, but as a whole FEDEX is 100% more OPPOSING fan friendly than QWEST. I WILL NEVER SPEND ANOTHER DIME IN SEATTLE. themurf
I spoke with a rep from their customer relations dept last night. While he was very apologetic about what happened, he did believe that some of us may be over exaggerating our claims (he said he didn't believe anyone really got beer thrown on them, maybe spilled.) I most definitely got an entire beer purposely thrown on me by a drunken fool sitting in the front row in the endzone nearest to where the Redskins took the field. There is no exaggeration. Immediately after it happened (after the Santana Moss touchdown made the score 14-13), I walked over and showed some of the Redskins employees I'm buddies with my soaked pantleg. The guy threw it at me because I was wearing a browns Washington Nationals ballcap. He said something to me, I smiled and nodded as I continued to walk past him and two seconds later I had an entire beer thrown at me. Had the setting been different and I not been there representing ExtremeSkins, I definitely would have responded accordingly.
Papabear
Just a question...Would you have written this letter if the skins won the game, would all the people complaining about the treatment be talking about it if we won? To me it sounds like some of you have put a lot of attention to this cause to get some sort of "win" in reality we are probably better served dropping it and moving on with our lives. Its football.. we have fans at fedex that do the same or worse.. no question. I don't think it was denied that people do it at Fedex, however, the people that don't do it should not have to take it from the idiots that dish it out because they cant take the fact that it's just a game. I bet it would have been worse if the Skins did win so I think the complaint would have happened either way. Qwest field also has the most banishments too. :seahawksu
Zguy28
Good for you buddy. Its a shame when organization can be so tarnished by it's fans. At least they care. You can't say the same for teams like the Eagles.

LisaTwelve
or do they not sell out and can buy tickets the day of the game. Seahawks.comEvery regular season and playoff game at Qwest Field since the 2nd week of the 2003 season has been played before a sellout crowd...A streak of 44 consecutive games. The Bomber #45
Just a question...Would you have written this letter if the skins won the game, would all the people complaining about the treatment be talking about it if we won?. When we scored what we thought was the "go ahead TD" when Mix picked up the kickoff we were jumping up and down cheering. My brother got a full beer dumped on his head, when I turned around I got punched in the face. If we would have won, I can promise you the treatment would have been worse.
