method man
3-0 in the playoffs is what I heard Kevin Sheehan say on the Riggo show yesterday. This bodes very well. Remember how we were undefeated against the Lions at home. I like the numbers here very well
kevinklein
A pleasant number indeed. He's also got a phenomenal December record. I hope it all lines up correctly.
professor21
we were also undefeated against the pats for like 10 years? just sayin, not hatin.
carter23
Gibbs was 8-0 against the vikings before last season... didn't help us much last year
CRobi21
Gibbs was 8-0 against the vikings before last season... didn't help us much last year We were a different team last year. We didn't have a savior of mankind as our QB.
Johnny White Guy
carry the one....cross out the two.....a-ha!! this equates to nothing other than the Vikings being toast.

Skinsfan_70
its a nice but an irrelevant statistic. if, perhaps, the number was 20-0 or something that could get into the heads of the Vikes, perhaps at the margin would be a plus, but as it stands, it won't be a factor. bulldog
I haven't seen many Vikings games this year but did watch some of last night's contest with the Bears. Boy, what an awful game  Tavaris Jackson is an interception machine If the Vikings throw 4 picks against the Redskins they won't win the game next week. I like the matchup of Gregg Williams defense vs. Tavaris Jackson. If Adrian Peterson is bottled up reasonably well and Jackson has to throw the ball to win, I think the Redskins are headed to 8-
fuji869
Gibbs was 8-0 against the vikings before last season... didn't help us much last year Exactly, did not help us in the 06 Season Opener.
Mickalino
Gibbs was 8-0 against the vikings before last season... didn't help us much last year Exactly, losing to a coach who was 0-0 against the whole world

ddub52
I remember the 1 loss. I was there. Opening game 06, Hall missed the FG to tie the game. Im still upset that I flew all the way up there for that game. So lets make it 9-1!
swisha
Isn't Joe 0-1 this time around though?
ronnyskins
Isn't Joe 0-1 this time around though? That's what I was going to say. It's all about the team now, though. Not Joe. We can't let this game come down to a single Joe decision. The players need to come to play.
illone
I'm very optimistic about this game. This team sounds very focused right now, yet at the same time it sounds like they are enjoying the game and having fun together. That's a deadly combination this time of year. I have a feeling Moss is going to torch these guys on Sunday. Their pass D isn't very good and if Collins can throw 35 yard passes in swirling winds, imagine what he'll be able to do in the dome:laugh:
RedskinzOwnU
And 0-1 in our last matchup. And what an embarassing matchup it was. What an embarassing year it was. And this year has just been so much better... Thanks, but, there's no confidence in Gibbs over here. If we win it's because our players want it more, and I think they do. I'll believe in the win once we win, and same goes for the dallas game, and our playoff hopes.

Dick Edds
I feel good about this game. No weather to worry about. I think Portis has that extrta little edge and jump when he plays in a dome on turf. TC will be in a rythm and ready to throw the ball in a controlled environment. Look for Moss, ARE and Cooley to open up the run game for Portis and Betts. But this game WILL be won in the trenches, on both sides of the ball. nace14
in the words of my great high school baseball coach...."if A beat B, and B beats C....A doesn't necessarily beat C" any given sunday boys, throw the past stats out the window. this is a playoff game for both teams. hokie4redskins
I'll never forget that NFC championship game in 88. 4th and goal, DG breaks up a pass intended for Anthony Carter at the goal line. Widespread panic ensues. I was 9 years old.
