skinsn24
http://www.washingtonpost.com/wp-dyn/content/article/2007/09/24/AR2007092401820.html (for some reason the copy and paste is acting really weird on this one) Thank god we have a bye week because some of these really trouble me. Especially Griffin, a tear of any kind is really going to slow him down, and I have said before that he is the KEY to the defense. Redskinsreceiver with the bye week, hopes to play when Washington hosts Linebacker (knee) have injuries that concern the team, while other players are nursing lesser injuries. Moss suffered the left groin injury in the fourth quarter of Sunday's 24-17 loss to the and although not related to abdominal/groin issues he had in the offseason, it will require care. McIntosh was forced out of the game with injuries to both shoulders that MRI exams revealed are pinched nerves. Washington's director of sports medicine, said two weeks without contact was prescribed. Griffin has a small meniscus tear in his right knee that could require offseason surgery, but should "calm down" with rest, Tyer said.
TheGift
Imagine. That's just THREE weeks into the season. Think of when we are in Week 9 and there won't be a bye. Damn this team needs to get some more youth in the offseason. (I know they got younger this year, but some areas need a little bit more youth)
skinsn24
For some reason when i copied and pasted this article it acted really strange. Griffin has a torn miniscus. Rocky has 2 pinched nerves, one in each shoulder Moss has a groin and wouldnt be able to play this week. Washington suffered a setback and has a larger brace. Bacon
Ouch. Losing Moss would be a huge concern, but a strain should heal up fully in two weeks. The pinched nerve should heal up OK...but that tear in Griffin's knee worries me.

Zazzaro703
And that doesnt even mention jansen and even bigger thomas already out.... Just imagine the misery if JCs knee injury turned out to be as bad as it looked in preseason (knocked on wood 500xs).
fdarugar
Wow, looks like perfect timing for the bye week...hopefully these guys will be able to go especially against that potent Lion's O. Moss' injury is huge, we really can't go into a game with ARE as the #1 and Cooley being forced to stay in and block much more often.

skinsn24
It is very true we have alot of injuries, but this is football, injuries are bound to happen and they are not an excuse but can be a possible reason. The only position in football i think an injury cannot happen at is QB because every other position should have depth on a good team.

He has dropped more than a handful of passes that were every bit catchable , sure he got overthrown a couple of times. Still I think there is cause for concern there. And how come Lloyd never got any chances at all. He may be alot better than we know , how could we , he never gets a chance. And what of Chris Wilson , how come he doesn't get any real playing time?? d0ublestr0ker0ll
Rocky did seem to be non-existant this past sunday. Here's to hoping he gets back to that amazing form.
rdskn4eva
I cant help but think of bad karma when people where cheering for Aaron Glenns injury earlier in the year. Its not a good idea to root for injuries and we have been bitten worse than last year. What lesson have we learned class? DONT CHEER FOR INJURIES!! RenegadeTK
meh the colts never seem to have any injuries. haha.... these first 3 weeks have been ridiculous. however, if you said in the beginning of the season. jansen and thomas will go down in weeks 1 & 2 respectively.... we would be DAMN happy with a 2-1 record

CliffBattles
For so early in the season, we have seen more than the average number of season ending injuries, all over the league. Some teams are fine....as long as a certain player or one of two players doesn't get hurt, it's all okay. The Redskins, and their lack of depth, and the lack of an identity on offense that is threatening...Well, it seems we have about 15 players, that if we lost any one of them...our season would be doomed.
