Jino
Thanks to HapHaszard for this link. http://www.pfcritics.com/news101/Thisseasonssurpriseteamtha.php So who will be this season's New York Jets or New Orleans Saints? If I knew that, I'd be at a sportsbook in Vegas emptying my pockets right now. No one knows for sure (that's what makes it a surprise), but I can give you a general idea of who that team will be this season. They have a Hall of Fame head coach, a great offensive coordinator, and one of the NFL's best running backs. That's right, i'm talking about the Washington Redskins. JaimeDeCurry
Here is the article. "When the Redskins are walking down that tunnel in January, getting ready to host that playoff game, just remember the one who told you it would come to pass." dsciambi
http://www.pfcritics.com/news101/Thisseasonssurpriseteamtha.php I think this is what he meant. Apparently this person must read ES, cause they're echoing what everyone here is saying. Edit: Guess the OP and a few others beat me to it! NewCliche21
Eh, guys, just look at the article. It's not exactly top-tier, so don't get your hopes up about media respect. ThomasRoane
Man, I really wanna believe but still smarting from last year. I do think 9 - 7 though is very attainable. And who knows what will happen if we stay healthy and others get bit by the injury bug. Let's hope!

CallMeGreen
This must be the 5th dentist. Or maybe he's a doctor. As in "4 out of 5 dentists" say the Cowboys and Eagles are super-dee-duper-wonder-licious [insert additional suck-up phrases here] and the Redskins will fail. Humbling humiliation to all of them! Well, you know I don't really mean dentists, but like the commercials always disclaim to us, someone (however stupid they are) always disagrees with the mainstream. I'm not saying this guy's affected; it's the other 80% of the media that are locked in Wonderland I'm talking about.

Peregrine
Its a trendy pick when you consider that our main problem last season was our defense, and it appears to be much improved. Whether im willing to buy into the hype yet... No, my will to maintain sanity wont let me. Id rather just wait to see what happens in week 1 and hope for something great. Bush: " Now, I know there are some polls out there saying this man has a 32% approval rating. Mr. President, please, pay no attention to the people that say the glass is half full. 32% means the glass -- it's important to set up your jokes properly, sir. Sir, pay no attention to the people who say the glass is half empty, because 32% means it's 2/3 empty. There's still some liquid in that glass is my point, but I wouldn't drink it. The last third is usually backwash. Okay, look, folks, my point is that I don't believe this is a low point in this presidency."

SkinsTillIDie
After we start the season 3-1 or 4-1 or so, we'll become the trendy pick to make the playoffs and become the Saints/Jets of next year. Either that, or the entire national media + Brian Mitchell will claim it's all a fluke, past-his-prime coach getting lucky, injury-plagued running back, inexperienced QB who luckily caught lightning in a bottle, etc. etc. etc.
