This is some excellent news. If it were a player at a need position I would probably like the trade more since we would still have a first round pick. Briggs looks like a system player to me, and frankly anyone will look good next to Urlacher.

Now the question remains....will we move up, down, or stay put?

It will be when the Redskins make a pick at #6.

Even then they still may deal that player later on to Chicago.

Just another note...NFL Network said the deal is unlikely (didn't say it was dead). Said it's possible he could be traded elsewhere.

I assume that once we are on the clock we may reopen talks if we dont get a better offer for the 6th but until then this trade is dead.
