RedskinsNation
Tomorrow: No trading up. And no trade in which we acquire Briggs. I will be satisfied, i think.
ThePreciating
If we pick a tiny DE "pass rush specialist," I will be disgusted. Teams run STRAIGHT AT guys like that. Either get a DL who can get to the QB and stop the run (a la Okoye) OR Trade away the future for Calvin Johnson. I'm fine with either. I understand the worry about what we'd have to give up for CJ. Here's what I don't understand. 1. How could so few people on this board know what a "possession receiver" is when this team used to have Art Monk!??? 2. For the few people who understand the term, how could you think CJ, a Monk-like possession receiver who makes Harrison-like catches and has Moss-like speed, would be a bad thing for this team? No hybrid receiver like this has hit the NFL in my memory (which I grant only goes back to about 1991). 3. What are the chances that we have the fewest picks of any team and this happens to be the weakest draft in the past few years? Maybe we actually sorta knew what we were doing. armada58
the trade for Briggs Easily my worst fear. Say no to Briggs.

Diesel70ChipOnWhite
I do not want the Skins to pass up an opportunity to take Calvin Johnson if we can get him in a trade even if it means the first next year. Off topic a bit but did anybody hear what Sean Springs had to say today on the Doc Walker show?

Passizle
For me its CJ first and Landry second. I pray we shore up the DL. We have ignored it for 7 years

chiramu
A RB, QB or OL would all be unnecessary right now, IMHO. DL, DB preferred. TE or even WR I'm ok with if it means we have a Tony Gozales equivalent or Randy Moss/TO hybrid type w/out the issues.
Slateman
1. Any QB 2. Adrian Peterson - Not only do we not need a RB, but we really don't need one that has injury issues. 3. Landry - Its not that I think he's bad, I just don't think he's as good a playmaker as Taylor. And that should be the standard for picking a safety in the top 10. poidog22
CJ is the only person I don't want because we will have to give up too much.No Briggs deal. No Branch. Landry would be ok. Okoye or Adams would be great. Trade down would be ok. I agree with your assessment, (esp. NO to the Briggs deal ), except I wouldn't be ok with Landry...he's a good player, but Landry playing with Taylor may stunt both players' development. I'd like to trade down, and if we were still able to somehow get Okoye and another first day pick, I'd be jumping for joy. I've noticed other posters saying that we don't need to draft a QB. I'm assuming that they're talking about a QB at the top of the draft, because we're going to need to start grooming a young backup, and it might be a good idea to pick one up on Sunday...not sure who that would be though. :whoknows:

ouvan59
1. Quinn 2. Russell 3. Peterson 4. Trade up to get CJ (would love it if he fell to us at #6) 5. Trade to get Briggs I have my preferences but I will not complain if we end up with Adams, Okoye, Landry, or Branch at #6. Wouldn't mind a trade down either. KevinthePRF
Anything that involves trading up, I.E. CJ. He's a luxury we don't need and can't afford. Drafting Landry or the Briggs trade as it was would bother me, but I could live with it.

illone
I like Cj as a player, but I don't want him on the team because it'll mean the team spent future draft picks to get him.
deejaydana
Trading up for CJ and giving away more picks for the effort would be the worst thing we could do at this point imho.
Flycoach
Out of the many options we have, what draft pick would make you the most angry?Try to keep it narrowed down to the options that are most tantalizing to the Redskins. And let's not include Briggs. Getting Landry. No way is safety a higher priority than the d line.
Greekdude
Trade down w/ Miami p/u a 3rdTrade number 9 to Chicago for Briggs and number 31 Draft Anthony Spencer DE That would be the best thing we have done in years,Im all for this scenario
Forever21
tough question actually. I'd be mad if we: drafted a QB on the first day. drafted any WR other than CJ in the first round drafted any RB on the first day Can't complain too much otherwise honestly.
