XtremeFan55
we can create a bidding war between the Vikings and the Falcons.. forget the Falcons looking at LaRon Landry...Petrino is a passing offensive genius and Mike Vick needs a reciever and CJ is a local boy who will also fill those stands... if CJ falls into our lap..we can move down 1 to 3 slots to 7th or 10th and pick up a low 2nd rounder and still pick one of the top DE/DT and maybe even get Justin Blaylock.. or maybe we can pick up one of the top OL from one of these guys in exchange who do the Falcons or Vikings have that we could use? SkinsTerps26
This draft can't get here and end soon enough. CJ will not fall to the 6th pick. Hes the most talented player in the draft.

#98QBKiller
I seriously doubt he'll be there, there's a good chance that Tampa will take him since Joey Galloway is wearing depends now.

Piledriven
Anything is possible... If he is there, I would draft him or use him as trade bait... But I do think that he will be gone... :point2sky

rlhjr34
I don't see this happening. Then again nobody really saw Leinert falling as far as he did or Aaron Rogers either. Anything is possible Draft Day.
ThePreciating
There is ZERO, I repeat, ZERO chance of CJ dropping to 6th, barring the bubonic plague striking EVERY OTHER nfl team, who, even if CJ were available, would trade up right over our heads. If CJ is available after pick 1, Detroit, Cleveland, and Tampa will have their phones ringing off the hook. Arizona won't, cuz they'll just go after whoever they think we want. The only way to suck worse than the Redskins is to try to be like the Redskins, which a bunch of teams are doing now. Oh well, we might suck, but we sure look cool sucking :-)
Tom Sullivan
If Calvin Johnson falls to the 6th pick then the Redskins should try and leverage the situation to get the best possible deal to trade down.
Slateman
Two options if Calvin Johnson drops to the 6th pick: 1. We trade down. Either a mid first rounder and a second rounder or two first rounders. And I'd possibly be willing to do a 1st, 3rd, and a 2nd next year. 2. If those trade options are met, we take him. Talent like that doesn't come around very often. And JC to CJ sounds awesome
Buck812
Draft him or ask for Ft Knox in return.
ThePreciating
Let me clarify - in the 0.000001% chance that CJ does fall to us - we do NOT trade down. Players like this don't come around often. Yeah, CJ could be a bust, but when a talent like that is available and you can get it, you take it. So, to recap: 1. CJ isn't falling to pick 6 2. CJ IS NOT FALLING TO PICK 6 3. If 1 and 2 are false, WE TAKE CJ, no questions asked.
RedBeast
I doubt it, but if it were me I would have to take him.
MartinC
He will be gone but if by some miracle he is still on the board when we pick he is too good to pass up - best player in the draft and you have to take him irrespective of need on the D'Line. JoeSkins
If he fell to this team (somehow), there's no other option than simply thanking the Lord he did and then sending up the card that reads: Calvin Johnson, WR, Georgia Tech.
arenasisgod
Lets say he has a weed problem. That usually gets guys to fall out of their proper draft positions.
XtremeFan55
Russel...Thomas and Petersen will go top 3...then you have the Bucs and Cardinals... Bucs might take CJ but Cardinals won't because they are already loaded with recievers.. everything depends on the Bucs.. now if someone like Houston wanted Brady Quinn bad enough...they might trade with the Bucs to get him...moving the Bucs out of the way...up to numer 8... Houston needs a bonafide franchise quarterback and they have a quarterback coach in Kubiak to groom him...Quinn looks like a great fit for them. Bucs trade and CJ falls into our lap...because Cardinals will go for defense...Adams or Andersen. not as farfetch as some in here think.
SkinsWizCubsDukes
If we can get CJ, we should keep him. If we trade him...we should get an extra pick this season and their next years first rounder...just like we did when we got Samuels and Lavar. (we traded the Saints Ricky Williams). This will never happen.
