PiLfan
Was Heath Shuler a starter for more than a year? If so, he's the landslide winner. Otherwise, I'd give it to Desmond Howard (note, I'm not including the special teams only specialists, as i don't consider them true starters). On defense, stanley richards was a nightmare, but does anyone remember Al Noga? (shudder). Big Dummy and Blubberfield were overrated and never lived up to their $$ contracts, but they at least made some plays here and there.
RDSKNFN_48
This is can be rather expansive with the Redskins at one point getting everyone that was past their prime from other teams and it's even harder because you're asking for a PLAYER (singular) Leonard Marshall James Washington Tom Carter Martin Mayhew (This was a tough one because he could knock you silly when he wasn't reading the back of your jersey). Michael Westbrook Albert Connell Deon Sanders
JoeSkins
I have nothing but love for any player that dons the Burgundy and Gold (with one or two exceptions) but since you asked:1995: 34 522 1 1996: 34 505 1 1997: 34 559 3 1998: 44 736 6 1999: 65 1191 9 2000: 9 103 0 2001: 57 664 4 For a seven-year, full-time #1 WR those are absolutely HORRIBLE numbers. I cannot believe we kept that guy around as long as we did. Well, that's one exception....who's the other?

chascougs
Calvin Muhammed and Alvin Harper were both major busts but hands down without question.... we have a tie Heath Shuler and Desmond Howard. Both had million dollar physical skills but ten cent heads.

Kurd Cudins
Bruce Smith. His selfish attempts to get the sack record left gaping holes in our D. He was overrated in Buffalo and wasn't worth the lint in my belly button. I really hope that one day people look back on his career and say, "WOW! That guy wasn't anywhere near as good as many of those mediots said."
FightForOldDC
I still have my Heath Shuler jersey from when I was younger!!!!!!! I'll never forget the time he ran on the field to relieve Frerotte and the entire stadium boo'ed him, I was embarrassed for everyone at the stadium that day, just had a few bad breaks, wish it woulda turned out differently for him in New Orleans
TD_washingtonredskins
Jeff George- even if he ony played in one gamehands down the worst! He played in a bunch of games late in 2000 and the first couple in 2001. His crowning moment was that MNF game vs. the Rams. He was on fire. I cannot believe we kept that guy around as long as we did. Westbrooke was a big disappointment, but he was money in that '99 season, and the injury he suffered in 2000 really doomed his career potential. Before that, though, you're right...he was a black eye on the organization (and Stephen Davis, )
Henry
Well, that's one exception....who's the other? Actually, that wasn't one of the exceptions, or I would have included his name. The only exceptions on my list are Deion Sanders and Jeff George, and I'm not even sure about George.
PiLfan
Terry Orr didnt know his role ,He couldn't block and he drop half the passes.MAybe he was good @ special teams .and he was the 3 TE behind DOC and Donnie. Please show me some of his highlights. He was the ML Carr ( Celtics cheerleader &bench warmer)for the SKins ,only thing he did was celebrate well with the players. I wish I still had my tape of the '91 NFC Championship game, where Orr had some big catches to put the Lions away...he was a legitimate receving threat that year coming out of the backfield, especially when everyone was trying to cover the Posse. Alvin Walton was slow ,couldn't cover anyone .Maybe be he shouldnt been on the list .But it was either Him or Sam Slade.U can pick it Sam Slade? BKSkinsFan
My vote is for Stubby. He brought expectations of a solid run defense with Big Daddy, which turned out being 1 of the worst run defenses to ever have the misfortune of watching. Also, even though he had some OK moments I have to say Gus Frerotte just for head butting that concrete wall. One of the dumbest and most embarrassing things ever done. He also came up with arguably the biggest play in SB XXII coming up with Ricky Sanders' kickoff return fumble with Denver already up 10-0. If the Skins go down 17-0 who knows how the rest of the game may have played out.

Maggio
Who was that old receiver we had in the 90's, who got upset with everyone but himself when he dropped passes? Wasn't it Albert Connell, he was piss poor lol. Yea, I would say Connell too. I would as scream to my friends that he was a punk and then he went and proved it with the Saints by stealing from his teammates' locker. Damn punk:mad:

DCMONEY
I'd have to say Shar Pourdanesh LT and Rod Stephens MLB. I'll throw Heath Shuler in there too. I'll never forget a game against Tampa back in the day when Tampa kept running the same exact running play. I think it was Matt Millen who was commentating on T.V.. They had to kinda calm him down because he was being so critical of Rod Stephens. He was very emotional. But he was correct. Tampa who was an awful team at that time just lined up and ran the ball down the Skins throats. Rod Stephens was terrible. Shar Pourdanesh was an oxygen thief. He was about 6'7" and about 320 pounds and was softer than tissue paper. I mean used to get straight bull rushed and put on his back. No foot work or upper body strength at all. The worst LT in Redskin History to me.
