TK Posted April 7 Author Share Posted April 7 Both Heyman & Hunter have said recently that they're about to really take the WWE into the next era. Not sure if they're meaning the ending of tonight's WM or tomorrow's RAW as WM tends to be the blow off for existing feuds & RAW has been the fresh restart/placeholder until the Draft. Either way, I'm expecting a whole lotta chaos (in a good way) to start amping up for the move to Netflix. I thought Night 1 was a solid show except for the Uso match. That was clunky af & seemed to have zero chemistry with them working against each other. I figured Jey would go over, though Jimmy needed a win way more. Main Event Jey Uso was over going into this one while Jimmy has been coming off as a non serious coat tail riding jackass goof. With The Rock in the Bloodline now & the recent Toma Tonga signing, they need to get Jimmy out of his clown phase & more serious. Leave the comedy relief to R Truth as he plays it perfectly. At the post show presser, Hunter said Brock was still around. Knowing that, Gunther should have retained the IC Title. A Brock vs Gunther title match is a match i want to see. Also, Dustin has a few more hours left to make Tony Khan "fear for his life" so he can get fired & make it to Philly. If his schedule doesn't allow him to defend that title a lot more, give it to someone who is all in. Don't even hate him. He has performed and taken some bumps. According to a report from Fightful Select, former MLW Heavyweight Champion Jacob Fatu has reportedly told those close to him that he signed with WWE this past Wednesday. This is the reason why he was pulled from a scheduled GCW appearance on Saturday. Back in February, Fatu finished up with MLW and became a free agent. While WWE officials wouldn’t confirm the signing, several sources within GCW said the word was making the rounds backstage on Saturday. justice98 Posted April 8 Share Posted April 8 I'd love to know how close they were to getting Stone Cold. Like, I'm a fan of Taker, but we see him around. Cena too. We don't see Stone Cold anymore on WWE TV. And if he's gonna show up, Taker in sweats doesn't hit the same. The gong does, but then when he's standing there looking ordinary, it felt.like he was doing them a solid and filling in at the last minute. I get imagination shouldn't equal expectation, but not getting the glass shattering and SCSA clearing the ring of the Bloodline and stunning Rock for one last oversell was a bummer.
