Given that the only achievment Gibbs, as a coach, has left is to win back-back SB, if he takes this team to the SB and wins, he WILL NOT step down. I think he's mentioning it as a possibility for a "failing" season. In which case, I see the possibility of him stepping down as likely as all 30 other Head Coaches when their team doesn't win the Super Bowl.
