JMac
Even though it wasn't a great great great movie, I found National Treasure entertaining. I enjoyed the movie as well. I also enjoyed Leaving Las Vegas even as dark and sad as it was.

hokie4redskins
I had heard bad reviews about "Lord of War" but thought it did a pretty good job of making the globalized weapons-trade interesting. Good flick. But yeah, Cage seems to have the same shtick and character in every movie.
ntotoro
I never realized old Nic Coppola ever made one watchable flick.

GrimReefa
If you want to see a really good Nicolas Cage movie, rent Adaptation. The Weatherman was watchable - nothing special, but it had its moments.
The Gibber
All of you guys are missing the best Cage performance - Raising Arizona. But yeah he is a very hit or miss type actor, and it is usually miss. Weatherman was decent, Lord of War was actually pretty good, National Treasure was good for a popcorn flick. But he is much better in Adaptation, Raising Arizona, and Leaving Los Vegas.
RabidFan
The Weatherman I enjoyed cause he wasn't his normal spazztic self mostly and Michael Caine defining "camel toe" was priceless. Cumon Now people. Raising Arizona is a CLASSIC.

Destino
These were all good or fun movies: National Treasure (2004) Matchstick Men (2003) Adaptation. (2002) 8MM (1999) City of Angels (1998) Face/Off (1997) Con Air (1997) The Rock (1996) Leaving Las Vegas (1995)
visionary
I enjoyed Gone In Sixty Seconds.... (not saying that it was good though)
Goaldeje
The original poster asked about a watchable movie. I think he has been inseveral such movies, many already having been listed. Cage may not add a lot to his roles, but some of his movies are fun. There is a difference between a good movie and good acting.
halter91
His acting on Con Air and the Rock were horrible, but I did enjoy both movies. Face off was good as well as Gone in 60 seconds. Maybe it was just because of the 2 hot pieces of ass, Eleanor and Angelina.
skinfan133
Even though it wasn't a great great great movie, I found National Treasure entertaining. i enjoyed it but nichloas cage is better suited for comedy than anything else.
