RammsteinSkins
Rammstein sounds so good. I have no idea how a language that I don't know (German) sounds so much better than a lot of American bands.
Springfield
Does anyone here say "close the light" or "shut the light"? I had a friend in 1st grade who did that and it made me cringe. It's an Asian thing... specifically Philippino I think. Something to do with a direct translation.
Mondizzle
It's an Asian thing... specifically Philippino I think. Something to do with a direct translation. It's not an Asian thing, it's a foreign thing, and I'm aware of this. This girl was born in America but her entire family was from Cyprus. EDIT: btw, it's "Filipino", he who thinks he knows all things Philippines
praise_gibbs
My neighbors (from Nicaragua) say "pass the vacuum". Drives me crazy!! "Before I go out today, I just have to wash the dishes and pass the vacuum."
Mondizzle
"Before I go out today, I just have to wash the dishes and pass the vacuum." Ha, that sounds painful This could be a whole thread on its own, but I also hate when people say "I could care less" and "one foul sweep/swoop". One thing I sometimes catch myself saying, even though I know it's grammatically incorrect: "A whole 'nother", as in "That's a whole 'nother story"

praise_gibbs
Sleep? Why?! I don't need sleep. I only have a billion things to do tomorrow. Why not stay up all night and probably sleep all day. Thus getting nothing done. Sounds like a great plan!
