With Jimoh ailing as well, this is the week we see whether our coaching staff has done a good job getting Dimitri Patterson and Christian Morton ready to play. Harris and Rogers, if he can play, can hold their own.... and we might see more of Prileau as nickel corner.

Based on the WP article on Sean Springs, it looks like his injury is serious and he won't be playing against Tampa Bay. I feel bad for the guy cause he's battled through the last 2 years and played banged up repeatedly. We need Rogers back and some creative adjustments to account for the lack of Springs.

I think we can get by with what we have. It wouldnt be the first time weve played with only one of our top 3 CBs.

What if Walt gets injured? We will be down to practice squad players. We are missing our top 2 and our dime back. Walt Harris and Mortensen are our starting CBs. We will sign another DB there is no way around it. I hope we sign Wilds he was ok when he played here.

Rogers was out three weeks ago. He was doubtful two weeks ago. He was questionable last week. So I think every effort will be made for Carlos to get out there on the field for Saturday's game :)

Springs if he has a torn groin muscle or hernia is going to need surgery.

Christian Morton started Atlanta's playoff games last year and was on the field yesterday at the end of the game.

My guess is Harris and Rogers start the game with Morton as the #3 corner.

I don't know that the Skins are better off bringing in anyone new.

I think you go with Morton as the #3 and bring in Patterson to play the #4.

These guys were first up on the roster and have the most experience (although limited) in the system.

This is not the time to bring in a guy that doesn't even know the basics.

Edell Sheppard burned Walt Harris last matchup. Hopefully Walt has learned from that, and shuts his side of the field down this time around. Then we can have Taylor help Rogers on Galloway. How familar do you think Wilds still is with the system?

Harris was just coming back from his heel injury in that game and was not 100%. To boot, the Redskins front seven got zero pass rush pressure on Chris Simms. That has to change this time around. Once again, it comes down to guys winning their matchups.

The one advantage the Skins have this time around is that Daniels will see single coverage outside as Cornelius Griffin is back in the middle after missing the last Tampa game :)

Sean Taylor is also back. That's a couple of pluses this week we didn't have on our side last time.
