CandaceM23
I definitely planned on watching the entire game ... but fell asleep after Brunell got sacked and threw the interception. I woke up at the beginning of the 4th quarter and crawled into bed. I was woken up by a rash of celebratory phone calls as Brunell threw the first TD pass. DButz65
I was on my hands and knees in front of the TV after took the lead. LOL same here! Just like Gibbs against the Vikings, when Darrell Green knocked that pass down to send us to the Super Bowl!
redskin48
I dont think that I could ever go to sleep during a Redskins game. I am always hoping that they will come back even when it is not feasible for them to get back in the game. It was worth it last night. I think that it was the emotional win that we needed. onward 2-

14 chops
Man, oh man! I was blown away when I found out today what happened in the fourth quarter!!! Yeah, I'm ashamed to say that I was negative about the outcome from the beginning. Even though the Skins' defense held steadfast and kept them in the game throughout, I did NOT believe the offense would come through! (I secretly hoped the defense would score some points.) I turned the game off in the beginning of the 4th quarter thinking, "some things never change." I'm a long time fan from the "over the hill gang" days and I just couldn't bear another disappointment. Shame on me for not going the distance! THAT'S WHY THEY PLAY THE "WHOLE" GAME! What about it? I'm wondering how many other fans missed the big come back for similar reasons? skinsfan44
Watched every last second of it over at a friends house with 8 other Redskin fans. NO ONE wanted to turn it off. We didn't stop celebrating until almost 3am.

Shaddow
If all it takes is some fans turning off the TV to pull out a big win, we should have signups for volunteers each week

jrfriedm
I know that I got sick of it, and went to bed at the start of the fourth quarter, just to have my brother wake me up after we went up 14-13.
laurent
I can honestly say that as disgruntled I've been with how the Redskins played over the years, I have never turned a game off until the final whistle blew. Sucks to be you
wvufootball1976
I was standing up the entire 4th quarter in front of the TV. I started praying on the 1st touchdown, and continued through the end of the game. That's hilarious. I prayed after the 1st TD too. I havent been to church in years and I prayed "please God if you let us beat these clowns tonight I swear I'm heading into church tomorrow". Gotta go meet the priest at 5. HOF44
I sometimes get down on them, but I have to keep watching. I just love my team. I have not missed a whole game since 1971, I was 8 at the time. I'm 42 now. I have been with this team good and bad my whole life basically. 14 chops
jrfriedm,Exactly! I'd seriously like to know how many phones were ringing at the end of the game and how many Skins' fans were glad they got those "wake up" calls? A TRUE fan will do anything for the team! If I need to turn the game off to ensure wins in the future for them, I'll do it! And, I won't blast other fans for doing their own thing like some of the "so-called" fans here! It takes all kinds I guess!
Maxito
I was tempted to turn off my televsion last night, because I was getting furious. I was complaining to my cousin that how bad our qb was playing.

RF4L
Didn't turn it off. Couldn't. When we scored to make it 13-7, I thought "Holy $hit, there's time to get the ball back! We're in this thing!" And then, when we hit the 70 yarder, I went completely, totally nuts. Sorry you missed it, bro.
