Welcome to the Redskins Chase Young DE Ohio State

That video was from 2 or 3 years ago. I'm not sure if he looks that good currently and post injury. -
I'm shocked that other teams haven't studied the exact way that they do it and mimicked it. They say it's a copycat league and all. It's practically a 100% successful on 3rd or 4th and short.

Have they failed on any of those plays yet? It's absolutely ridiculous, the rate of success they have on that play. It seems like the fact that they have a great oline, great center, qb who is incredibly strong, and rbs pushing the qb from behind makes it absolutely unstoppable. Frustrates me. I've always felt like that was cheating. RB's pushing the qb forward. I know it's allowed but I don't think it should be. Seems like a lack of integrity when the qb isn't actually accomplishing the goal, but he's basically a box being pushed by a forklift. It gives an unfathomable advantage to the offense. It's incredibly unfair to the defenses. It makes it way too easy for sneaks to be successful.

Michigan's center OO. Not even gonna try to spell his name, is a beast. Won the outland trophy award. He's a 6'3 310 pound monster. Gave up zero sacks all season long. After preposterously losing our #1 and #2 center for the season, two consecutive seasons, maybe we should draft him, if he's available when we pick.

The Random Thought Thread (Stadium Edition)

Kirk and the Vikings beat the Saints in the playoffs during the 2019-20 season. He's 1 - 4 in the playoffs in his career. Not very good. Unfortunately the antithesis happened. Dallas smoked TB. Smh. -
I have a feeling that after a couple of weeks, they'll end up missing him and we'll see him back and crazier than ever fairly soon.

I'm shocked that such a peaceful, well mannered, patient, understanding, never argumentative guy like cooley would even use profanity.

2023 Draft Order/Tracker - Current Pick #16
AlwaysBeRedskins2Me replied to zCommander's topic in The Stadium
Why cut Lucas? He's easily our best backup offensive lineman, if Schweitzer is starting. That would really hurt our depth. -
It's happened before. Doesn't end well.

It's not likely that all 3 lose and we win on Sunday. It would be phenomenal though. However, I could absolutely see 2 of the 3 lose and we win. That would be a huge success for us. Eliminates two of them. Then we dont even necessarily have to beat Dallas. We would just need one other game to go our way in week 18. It would be Washington gets in with win vs Dallas OR a loss by so and so. Two different ways for us to get in, in the last week. That's my realistic goal. Two of the three teams 0.5 back of us lose and we win. Looking pretty good at that point.

Do other teams try to block elite pass rushers with a tight end, one on one like we sometimes do? I find it preposterous. I don't want to see anyone trying to block Myles Garrett one on one. I'd like to think that our best blocking TE Bates would be put on that side and help Leno double team MG the entire game. I doubt it happens though. I'm sick of seeing guys like Bosa, Parsons, Thibodeaux, etc completely wreck us. Not expecting to completely shut them down but it seems like preparations aren't even made for this problem. Smh.

There is no way Curl would have allowed Kittle to literally run free, wide open, seemingly the entire game. It was beyond absurd. Kam is absolutely pivotal to our team.

Their offensive line is actually playing like hot garbage. It's one of the reasons their offense has been abysmal for the last 6 weeks. I watch their oline a lot because I have Nick Chubb in fantasy football. It's been brutal. They aren't opening holes for him worth a crap. He has only gotten me between 9 - 11 points in 5 of the last 6 games. That's atrocious for an elite stud running back. In two of those games, Chubb had 34 yards on 14 carries and 19 yards on 14 carries. Pretty bad. He has only hit 100 yards rushing once in the last 7 games. Mostly due to the oline struggling. I'd like to think that our front 4 or 5 will give them fits. Now Carolina's offensive line however HAS been mowing people down in the run game. They're incredible. I am very glad that we don't have to play them right now, with a trip to the playoffs on the line.

I didn't enjoy mine, that's for sure. It was horrible. For huge lifelong fans, who come on here atleast 10 times a day, seven days is an eternity. When my daughter messes up one time at school, she doesn't get immediately expelled or immediately suspended a massive, unfathomable, preposterous 7 days. She gets a verbal warning first. Most jobs are the same way. Starts with a verbal warning. I know it's posted, not to do it. Employee handbooks do the same thing. You still get a verbal warning for most offences. I guess what I'm saying is that I find it unbelievably harsh and strict. I missed out on all of the big Snyder news, Vikings gameday thread, and some other things. It was painful for me but there wasn't anything that I could do about it. I made a mistake but there was no bad intent or malice involved. I didn't know I was going to be obliterated by a humongous suspension. Oh well.

The extremes that both sides go when it comes to Taylor Heinicke is very similar to politics. No objectivity. My side is always 100% correct. No happy medium. Why can't we admit that Taylor has limitations and probably not the qb of the future BUT still give him credit where credit is due? I haven't heard the Taylor pessimists give him praise for getting the pivotal 9 yard scramble on 3rd and 6 then get outta bounds, the huge 4th down conversion to Samuel, the perfect 25 or so yard throw to Cam Sims, the nice gamewinning qb sneak, the calm, poise, clutch gene etc. It's ridiculous to not be able to acknowledge this. Washington's organization was like 1 - 134 or something like that when trailing by 2 scores with 5 min left in a game. Isn't it phenomenal that Heinicke orchestrated that? We should appreciate the positive things. Especially with everything we've been through.
