I don't know where to put this but I just saw where Dustin Hopkins...Dustin friggin Hopkins just made a 44, 54, 54, and 58 yard kicks, last Sunday?? He is the #2 best fantasy kicker and looks like Justin Tucker on steroids!!! I'm flabbergasted. I don't recall Hopkins having a strong leg whatsoever, when he played for us. He certainly didn't have this kind of accuracy. Now he just set an all time NFL record for consecutive games, making a fg from 50 plus. Am I in the Twilight Zone??

Every week I see a defensive touchdown from a team. Either a pick six or a scoop and score. Even bad defenses sometimes get one. Here we are almost halfway through the season and we haven't even sniffed one. So frustrating.

In Sweat's defense, he does lead our team in sacks ( 4.5 ), QB hits ( 9 ), and tackles for loss ( 6 ) so he is having a good year thus far. I understand that overall season by season, he's underachieved a bit though.

A win today is absolutely crucial. The NFC wildcard picture is wide open but we can't go from 2 - 0 to 2 - 4 and realistically feel like we have a chance. Gotta stop this terrible losing streak right now. The difference in 2 - 4 and 3 - 3 is massive.

So do you guys really have insomnia on Sunday mornings or is this more of a facetious thread? I actually do have this problem and it is infuriating. I have had it for decades. Like right now, I haven't been able to sleep worth a crap all night. This happens to me on a regular basis on Sunday mornings from September to late January. During the NFL offseason, I will sleep great on Sunday mornings. It makes it even more frustrating whenever my team comes out and plays poorly or worse gets their doors blown off. Which as you know, has happened to us far too often. So now I'm going to be exhausted starting at 5pm and be tired at work. And for what? To see the Falcons take a dump on top of our heads? Argh 😥 I saw all of those " 90s " and I thought wow this person really loves Montez Sweat. Then I read the fine print. Lol.

So I guess we can't trust comments from players. Yep, it's inexplicable how the same players and same coaches can go from having a good unit to sucking terribly from one season to the next. It feels like we could beat Atlanta 56 to 0 and we'd still be disgusted and demoralized. And feeling like the season is over. That's how astronomically, unfathomably, preposterous Thursday night was. Maybe I'm wrong and we'd be fired up again but I'm not sure.

I have never been so deflated after a loss before in my life. I have never felt this demoralized. Normally at 2 - 3 ( with 2 winnable games ahead ) I would be like hey, just win these 2 and we're in a pretty decent 4 - 3 spot. However this feels differently. This feels astronomically hideous. This feels like it's almost impossible to win 10 games and one playoff game. Which were my aspirations at the beginning of the season. I guess if we start winning games, I'll get my excitement and mojo back. However, right now, that seems inconceivable.

One thing is for sure, training camp reports are apparently worthless. We read countless times, how phenomenal Forbes looked. How he was all over Mclaurin and Dotson like stink on poo. Then the regular season starts and whoa, what the hades is going on!!! I hope it's just early season rookie struggles and he eventually becomes a stud. Not looking good currently, to state the obvious.
