Howell and Brissett both played well last night. Our QB room is much better than last year. They will be as good as the o-line allows them.

We looked pretty unstoppable against their 2nd team. That's what you want. Howell is a legit starting QB in this league. Looks like our biggest weaknesses are o-line and linebacker, who would have thought?

That's a bad look for our 3rd and 4th round picks. The starters are locked. Backups are obviously Lucas, Paul, and probably Larsen (because of Gates gets hurt we are absolutely screwed without some experience at center). Do we take 9 or 10 o-line? Because if Trent Scott looks good at tackle Stromberg or Daniels may not even make the team. What a terrible draft.

I don't really care about camp. I remember in 2020 when Haskins was reportedly having an excellent camp. Apparently Dak is having a terrible camp, but if I was a betting man I would bet that Dak has a strong season.

Davis is an absolute freak athlete. I was high on him and glad when we drafted him. I just don't think he is very bright. Struggles to read offenses and apparently traffic rules as well. My problem with Rivera is that when he took over our linebacker and o-line were the biggest weaknesses, and they are still the biggest weaknesses. Instead he piled in more d-line and wide outs to an already stacked position group. I'm starting to think Ron isn't very bright. If anything saves Ron it will be pure luck that Howell works out. It's not like he really wanted Howell, he just slipped to the 5th round.

You're probably right. But this is a bad look in his season to prove he deserves the 5th year option. If he doesn't play lights out he's gone this off-season.

I've supported Davis a lot more than others, but this is inexcusable. What a flipping idiot. 114mph sounds like jail time. He doesn't deserve a long term deal from anyone and will probably be released.

From what I'm hearing we may have the worst o-line in football. This is all on Ron and will ultimately be his failure. I as much as I like Doctson and Forbes as players, I just don't see them moving the needle. We needed big boys bad.

I'd rather have a gunslinger who throws picks here and there than checking down or taking sacks. Especially on 3rd down. At least give the receiver a chance. That's probably the biggest difference between Howell and Brissett. Brissett will play a conservative game but we will only score 17 points. Howell will chuck it. There will be games where he throws 3 picks and still puts up 30 points.

A bust is a first round pick that doesn't work out, especially a top 5 pick. Chase hasn't been good and doesn't want to be good. And I wouldn't say he has any more potential than other top young edge rushers. Let's not forget he was compared to Lawrence Taylor. So far, a big bust.

If a team has to choose where to put money, it's typically not DBs. After we pay Young, Sweat, and Davis we will be broke on defense. The first round pick should have been a tight end. But that's just how I feel and hopefully I'm wrong.

Are we really arguing that 175 lbs is so much better than 165? The guy is small and will always be small. It's who he is. Ill be straight forward and admit that I didn't like the pick. But, hopefully he comes out with 6-8 picks a year and proves me wrong.

We have to start 2-0 because we are getting stomped weeks 3 and 4.

I swear if we lose a first round pick for a player who hasn't thrown a pass in years that would be the most Washington thing ever.

We really screwed up not taking Kincaid. He will be the next Kelce and our picks probably won't even sign past their rookie contracts. I will never understand Ron's thought process this draft.

His weight at the combine was 166. That's a fact. If you watch the video of him with Jonathan Allen, he just doesn't look like an NFL player. He seems like such a good guy though and obviously I wish him the best.

Any combination of players is better than what we drafted. Literally any. A computer AI system would have drafted better than Ron. I realize the top o-line were gone by 16. But we could have picked a 10 year franchise TE in Kincaid or Mayer. Unsteady we took 2 small defense backs who will probably get beat up and won't sign here long term. Bad draft Ron.

I would have given your draft an A. Ours was a big fat D. That first round pick could have changed everything. There were absolute beasts on the board at 16 and we took a 165 lb guy. I just don't get it.

I agree sir. I don't see any of these player signing long-long-term except Stromberg . Center is such an important position and I think we fixed it with Gates and Stromberg. But other than that it was very blah. Should have gone bpa in rounds 1 and 2. I think we missed the mark. EB should feel sick. I would have loved Kincaid or Mayer in round 1. That would have been a franchise 10 year TE.

All of our rivals did except us. A top TE in round 1 would have changed our whole draft. We messed up.

We absolutely did not go best player available. I'm sure EB would agree. We had the chance for the TE1 and took a 165 lb player instead. Worst draft that I can remember. Ron better hope Howell becomes the next Mahomes because this will be his last season if not.

I don't know about that. Jay Gruden drafted McLaurin, Sweat, Payne, Allen All our best players. Ron has not impressed me with draft picks. His saving grace may be Howell. But he didn't help Howell out with this draft, that's for sure.

I liked Ron and thought Dan was the biggest problem. But my God this draft sucks. I would have taken Kincaid and Steen or Henley in the 2nd. Please tell me I could draft better than Ron???

I have no words for how bad this draft is. This is the absolute worst draft of my lifetime. This is worse than Doctson and Cravens.
