This is Ron's team, with the exception of our best players (McLaurin, Sweat, Payne, Allen, and Holcomb). Those five were Gruden's players. Gruden was a better coach, can't believe I said that.

Rhule gets fired after 2 and a quarter seasons. He had 2 terrible drafts and still no long term answer at QB. Sound familiar? The days of giving a coach and a QB years are over. What Cincy did last season was unbelievable and is the new standard. Of course Dan won't get it though. I can see it now, next season Rivera will have the same old presses about this is a process and to be patient.

Of course I still care, watching Washington football has and will always be one of my favorite hobbies. But I've learned a healthy amount of care. After a loss I'm upset for about an hour and then I move on. It's not worth losing sleep over something I cannot control. If anyone should lose sleep it's Ron. This is his ****show that he built. It's sad that most of us fans could have built a more competitive team than he did.

I was wrong about Wentz, I thought he would be much better. But I also remember TH last season, that was brutal. I was at the New Orleans game and he couldn't throw the ball 40 yards downfield, it was really hard to watch. It was between Wentz, Trubisky, Jimmy G, or draft Pickett so it was lose lose either way. I also don't want Ron drafting a new QB while on the hot seat. We should draft o-line next year and see what Wentz or Howell can do with protection. If not, bring in a new coach and let him draft his QB.

It sucks man. I never would have thought NY would field a better team than us this season. They had a strong off-season building the lines. Our o-line has fallen to the worst in the league. Plus they have much better coaching than us.

If Ron doesn't get fired, he is not taking a rookie QB. Rookie QBs are a long process to develop, 2-3 years minimum with a lot a really bad games in-between. Ron isn't waiting that long. I also don't want a coach on the hot seat drafting a QB. Time after time Dan forces a new coach to develop a QB he didn't draft.

The o-line is terrible and cannot be fixed this season. I blame Ron for the o-line problems. So what do we do this off-season? Option 1: Draft a QB with our top 5 pick and build the o-line through free agency. But Payne and Sweat will have to walk. Option 2: Keep Wentz and draft oline with our top 5 pick. Keep Payne and Sweat. I think option 2 is the best bet. Look at what the Giants have become building strong lines. Young or Stroud would die behind our line.

Y'all can blame Wentz all you want but the play calling was God awful.

All of Ron's talk about things take time and follow the process is bull****. Doug Peterson has turned the Jags around in one off-season. The Bengals went to a Superbowl two years after being one of the worst teams in history. Yes those teams have better quarterbacks, but this is the team Ron built and he has taken no accountability. In 2020 we had a chance to upgrade the most important position, but for some reason he saw "promise" with Haskins. In 2021 Ron thought the best solution to be competitive is bringing in Fitz. In 2022 we had our worst draft in years. Yes Dotson is good player but it was not a position of need. Should have taken Devin Lloyd like most fans wanted. Then he didn't take a lineman until the 7th round. This disaster is on Ron, no excuses.

I disagree with a lot of comments. This team has talent but terrible coaching. Defense: Young, Payne, Allen, and Sweat would start for most teams in this league. Davis was a first round talent from most mock drafts but needs proper coaching. Jackson was a stud in Cincy, what happened? Fuller was wanted by Ried and won a Superbowl. Curl has been a great pick. Offense: McLaurin, Samuel, and Dotson would start for any team in this league. A healthy Thomas would start for most teams. Gibson would thrive as a third down back for any team. McKissic was wanted by Buffalo. Robinson looks promising. Roullier would start for most teams. Cosmi was projected as a first round pick who slipped. Yes the o-line and quarterback are major problems. My main concern though is I don't trust Rivera to develop our young players and fix the QB problem.

I will admit it when I'm wrong, I was wrong about Wentz. He just doesn't get it. He reminds me a lot of RG3, how he backups up into rushers instead of stepping up in the pocket. He refused to change the call to run on 3rd and 2 when Dallas had 8 men in the box verses our 5 lineman. On the other hand, Cooper Rush was calm, he checked down, he audibles, and threw beautiful 50/50 jump balls. But, we had to bring someone in other than Hienicke. The draft sucked, so it was really between Trubisky, Jimmy G, or Wentz. We made a move and it didn't work.

Dan won't have a choice. He has to make a change to save this franchise. Young fans are not watching this team. Home games and taken over by opposing fans. The new name and jerseys are not selling well. He can't make a deal for a new stadium. Got to bring in a young football smart coach, and there a plenty of them. Get ahead of new trend before other teams catch on.

Strong post Warhead. Modern day football has turned into a game of chess. Coaches are more important now than ever. The offense and defense both look lost. It's pathetic. I mean Doug Peterson has completely turned the Jags around in one off-season. I really like Kellon Moore. He is winning with a backup QB and a banged up o-line. I love the downfield jump balls that end with either a catch or pass interference. Turner just runs stupid *** screens.

This WILL be Ron's last season. We just got blown out by a backup qb. We need a young coach from a winning program. Ken Dorsey, Kellen Moore, Byron Leftwich. Someone that understands modern football. Someone that can play the chess game. This isn't a terrible team for a new coach. We have weapons on offense. We have a strong d line. We have promising young linebackers that need proper coaching. And we will have a top 5 pick for the new coach to get his QB.

I've seen enough. I was wrong about Wentz. Yes the o-line has been ****. But Wentz doesn't understand the game. He doesn't make adjustments and audibles. He doesn't know how to spread the field. He doesn't know how to throw his receivers open. It's not that Hienicke or Howell are any better. I do think Rivera will be gone this off-season and let the new coach find his guy.
