    I'm definitely letting emotions get the best of me. But there are plenty of fans (not saying you) who expect Howell to play like Mahomes in his 9th game. If Young or Stroud played the Eagles the way Howell did today, they would be certified all-stars by the fans and media. Howell is not perfect, but today was three steps forward. Quick decisions and only one sack. His best career game by far.

    It went through Terry's hands. It would have been an insane and difficult catch, no fault to Terry. Today Howell made quick decisions, got the ball out to the playmakers. 400 yards and 4 TDs ( albeit one was garbage time). Howell did not lose this game.

    Here comes the Howell hate. Yes, those balls weren't great, but gotta catch those man. Brown is making one handed catches out there.

    See what a competent o-line can do for this offense? Why this wasn't the starting unit week 1 is beyond me.

    If Terry is one on one, throw it. Force them to double him. Also, Chris Paul is a big dude.

    This is an important game for the future of our franchise. Could be Ron's last game. Could be Howell's last game (hopefully not). Could be Young and/or Sweat's last game. Howell my bud, you have to take deep shots early. If Terry is one on one, just hike it and throw it up.

    The analytics will tell you that 160lb corners don't work out in the NFL. Dinosaur Ron is slowly being pushed out.

    I feel bad for Howell. This week it seems fans/media have really turned a corner against him. Based on what I'm hearing, I would bet he only has one game left. If he gets sacked 5 times by Philly (highly likely) I think Ron puts Brissett in. Ron and EB will care more about their name than developing a young QB. If Howell was a first round pick, the perception would be completely different. He is top 10 in passing yards and touchdowns with a 4-4 career record. Not fair for Howell, but it's looking towards a very short career in the NFL.

    Thank you! I'm so tired of hearing how Ron improved the culture and he's such a good person. Literally anyone would have improved the culture after Gruden. Ron has done nothing for this team except ruin it. We had four first rounders on the d-line, two future HOFers on the oline, Scary Terry, and the #2 overall pick. Ron has destroyed this team with absolutely horrible draft picks and FA signings. We are at the point of having to tank and start completely over because of Ron.

    I'm counting seconds tonight for Cousins and Purdy. They are getting about 3-4 seconds to throw. During blitzes there is an immediate hot route available. What we are asking Howell to do as a young QB is absurd with 2.5 seconds.

    Gibson and Robinson have zero threat of breaking one for the house. Safeties and linebackers can fly up and now worry about getting beat. I'm sure opposing teams know this and that's why we can't run worth a ****. C Rod should be the starter and Robinson should be the short yards guy. Gibson, not really sure what to do with him. Again, awful, awful draft picks. Third round is perfect for IOL or LB.

    Oh God. Eagles looked like they cleaned up of few of their issues and are back in full force. This could be a complete, total, absolute embarrassment. Potentially Ron's last game, fingers crossed. EB against New England is not a bad first start. Eagles 45-13.

    I completely agree with you in terms of skill players. But not in the trenches. Caleb Williams would not have better numbers than Howell this season due to the oline. And Howell has actually been better than average. We need a couple years to build the oline and see where Howell is. Unless you have a top 3 pick without trading assets. Then absolutely take a QB.

    Only Ron thought he built a good roster. The entire media (full of well respected evaluators) had us as a bottom 10 team. Most evaluators and fans hated the last couple drafts. Forbes and Dotson are severely undersized. Ron is just awful at drafting.

    I'm going out on a limb and saying Davis was Ron's best pick in Washington. A lot of fans don't like him, but he is such a freak athlete and keeps getting better. Played a good game today. Linebacker was a position of need and it was the right pick. Chase was not a position of need. Any component GM that drafted Young would have immediately traded Sweat. Dotson and Forbes are severely undersized and should have never been first round picks. Ron has destroyed this team with terrible drafts.

    Dotson needs to grow a pair and come back to the football. At least break up the pick. That pick is as much on Dotson as Howell.

    A young, nerdy, offensive minded head coach. Anything else is unacceptable. A McVay, McDaniels, Shanahan.
