    Wilson and SP are legit. This was never going to be an easy game. And we were the better team. Imagine making just one of those missed field goals. We can play with anyone this league, not scared of anyone. Not contenders this year, but man if we fix the o-line and linebackers we will really have something. It was nice to see Jamin's speed today. Wilson was not expecting that.

    I can confidently say we have our franchise QB! There's just something about him. The arm strength, accuracy, scrambling. He's got it all.

    Bingo! I do not agree with just throwing the ball away. If your read isn't there, try and scramble. We've seen enough of check down Cousins and Smith. Howell is a breath of fresh air and I hope he continues to play with the home run attitude.

    Because now is the time to make a decision. We just can't afford him and Sweat. Sweat is the better player. If we wait until the end of the year, we are risking another injury. Unless like I said earlier, Ron may think we are the 2019 49ers and can contend this year with our d-line alone.

    IDK about that. Pass rusher is the second most important position in football. I think we can easily trade him for a 3rd. We just can't afford both him and Sweat, and Sweat is clearly the better player. Unless Ron thinks they can have a SB run next year (though Chase likely won't play without a LT deal).

    Not a perfect game, but my God Howell is an upgrade over Wentz/TH.

    We don't need Chase. Pay Sweat. If I was GM, Chase would be on the trade block tomorrow morning.

    QB play around the league has been dreadful today. I really think Howell will be just fine. Kind of a weird game with the rain and all the turnovers. But I'll take the win and thoroughly enjoy my week.

    The 2023 Cardinals may be the worst non-expansion team roster in NFL history. If we lose this game, Ron might as well not show up to work Monday. 31-10 us.

    Well the expectation for Chase Young was Lawrence Tayler. You don't get the #2 pick very often. I think he's a good guy, but us fans watch the NFL to win. You know how sick I am having Dallas and Philly roll all over us every single year? I haven't fully given up on him, but it doesn't look promising.

    Week 1 will be a blowout. The last time I predicted a blowout in our favor was at the Texans last season. And this Cardinals team is worse than last year's Texans. Blowout or we suck.

    They still would have taken Chase. No way Dan was going to move away from Haskins, the QB he overruled his whole organization to draft. If he misses the beginning of the season and comes back average at best, he should be traded before the deadline.

    I was hoping to play Colt McCoy week 1. Now we have a bit of a challenge. Still no excuse to lose against Arizona.

    Brissett is only here for one season. They have no plans to keep him here at 8 mil as a backup. I think Fromm makes the 53, it seems like he is their long-term backup QB plan. Gibson is someone to watch on the trade block. He just can't break that first tackle to get in open field. I can see another team trying him out at wide receiver.

    What a stupid, stupid thread this has becomes. Who gives a **** if he smokes weed? Aaron Rodgers, arguably the smartest QB of all time, smokes weed.

    Simmons is not quick enough as a safety and not strong enough as a linebacker. Very Landon Collins like. Giants can have him.

    Howell is legit. He can really rifle those throws. I've never a QB in burgundy and gold throw it like he can. I've accepted the fact that he will take bad sacks from time to time trying to buy time. But he will make up for it on other plays. It's so much better than Alex Smith or Kirk Cousins checking down on third and long. I wasn't high on him in college because of how long he holds on to the ball. But when he decides to scramble, he times it so well.

    Well I remember how bad Wentz looked last preseason. So it's an upgrade to say the least. Football is football, NFL is NFL. All of these guys were amazing college players. Howell looks great

    Hopefully some of these rookies play well tonight. Because I haven't seen **** from any of them except Forbes, Rodriguez, and Jones. And Jones is a stretch to make the team. Not very good Ron.

    Bingo! Should have traded Chase for a second this off-season. We can't afford him and Sweat anyways. Rivera is so stubborn with his draft picks. Also didn't need two DBs back to back last draft. Should have gone oline in the second.
