  1. Man, our draft room looked so JV compared to the bears…
  2. Once the protesters weed out those bad apples we can talk about taking them seriously.
  3. You can’t take anyone seriously who is waving Hamas and Hezbollah flags around. Anyone doing that is either ignorant or evil.
  4. I’m going for the old English look so I only brush before church.
  5. What are the protestors exactly doing that is forcing the police to forcibly remove them? Seems like when other protests happen that were equally or more obstructive were mainly allowed to go on. To a point where looters who weren’t even associated with the protesting took the opportunity to burn down buildings…. Also, this **** starts up right before the election? Just like the previous huge protests right before the election? It’s pretty obvious America is being manipulated and we are eating it all up.
  6. https://www.teslarati.com/tesla-maintenance-repair-costs-lowest/ ByZachary Visconti Posted on April 22, 2024 Tesla’s 10-year maintenance and repair costs are the most affordable in the automotive industry, as shown in a new data analysis publicized last week. The total 10-year cost of maintaining and repairing a Tesla is the cheapest in the industry, according to a data analysis shared by Consumer Reports on Friday. The data showed that, over the course of a decade, Teslas averaged just $4,035 in maintenance and repair costs, compared to those of automakers Land Rover and Porsche, which landed at $19,250 and $14,090, respectively. Four out of five of the least expensive brands to maintain were U.S. companies, including Tesla, Buick, Lincoln, and Ford.
  7. Loans can be forgiven and are aid as long as they aren’t called. So if it makes it more palliative to give aid wrapped in a loan wrapping go for it.
  8. If the robotaxi actually works then there is no reason for Tesla to sell a low margin $25K electric car when they are already supply constrained. Make it, but use it for your robotaxi service instead. I have yet to have had to disengage fsd beta 12. Some times I have had to press the accelerator to make it turn on to a road a little faster. So far from what I’ve seen it solves fsd. *not in snow/heavy rain most likely. And I don’t know how well it works in super complex environments. also:
  9. We are going back to rome? 💀💀💀 There was a **** **** ton of violence in Mesopotamia and while I’m not a huge geographer in pretty sure that’s close to the ME…
  10. Is this iteration worth watching? A lot has changed in my life sense xfl and free time is minimal!
  11. Stop with the fake BS already. Community notes already added to that post. https://x.com/smoothdunk/status/1781500996096528433?s=46
  12. Nah, if spaceX and Tesla let musk run their reputation into the ground that will be a problem, for sure. But the product itself is pretty good.
  13. Just the best. 🤡 yea, but space x is sears in 1900, not 2000. SpaceX is much safer than Tesla.
  14. Cyber truck is no different than any of the other cars they’ve produced at launch. The same problems they are having with the cyber truck are different but the same as they had with the model 3 and model y and launch. They are a small manufacturer and they never built a truck before so the people who bought the very first cyber truck are essentially beta testers, and any fan of Tesla knows this. It isn’t like ford updating the 2023 F150 to the 2024 F150. They are building something that’s never ever been built before and it’s not a derivative. So for me they get a pass on that. A lot of the drama has been sensationalized due to Musks poor behavior. As far as the last paragraph a disagree with just about everything you said. Other companies are desperately trying to replicate space x efficiency but they can’t. And that affects the ability to put usefully internet into space. Since you have to be able to launch a lot of satellites and the start up costs are huge. Space X can do it for cheaper and safer than Boeing or NASA. As far as whether or not he can be removed, I think that it is impossible unless he continues to dilute his holding. And, he is already trying to increase his holding by asking Tesla to issue more shares and give a majority of them to him in exchange for his work with AI. There re institutional investors in Tesla, but there are also a lot of share holders who idolize him and aren’t worried about the price of TSLA stock. In the early 2000s when Tim Cook got canned there were no meme stocks, not much in the way of retail trading ect. It was easier to oust him because the people who owned shares cared about $$$ over the person. With Tesla I think enough people idolize and him owns enough of it to make it a much more difficult task.
  15. We will see how Tesla share holders feel, they getting ready to vote on his compensation again. I’m ready for Tesla and SpaceX to move on from Musk though that won’t ever happen unless he decides to do it.
