  1. @Renegade7 in case it wasn’t obvious enough that Hamas did not accept a deal…
  2. The soldier is a big Russia/Trump supporter. I dont want to say any of our troops deserve the treatment of Russian jails but he was certainly trying to earn it.
  3. no. Israels position was always that they would only accept a temporary ceasefire. Israel did not blow off the deal. It didn’t meet their requirements and was too advantageous to Hamas. Egypt knew this in advance of whatever deal they struck with Hamas. I think they were hoping international pressure would cause Israel to fold. Hamas should surrender. I’m sure if the leaders of Hamas were to turn themselves in (to the ICC for example, where they could have a fair trial) there would be no assault on Rafah. Think about all the lives that could be saved if they just did the right thing. Instead you put the onus on Israel and say they should surrender the ability to secure their national security for the lives of Palestinians who voted Hamas into power.* *not saying the people trapped in Gaza deserve what is happening to them. Aid flow was stopped after mortar fire from Hamas.
  4. Yes, I agree. Hamas can’t be destroyed. But there infrastructure can be. yes: that’s what I am saying, there wasn’t a deal to be “shat on” because there wasn’t ever any deal.
  5. You can argue with Egypt instead if you like. https://www.npr.org/2024/02/26/1232826942/rafah-gaza-palestinians-egypt-border Egypt, however, has warned against an influx of refugees. It facilitates humanitarian aid into Gaza, but has said a mass exodus of Palestinians out of Gaza into Egypt is a red line, saying it fears Israel might never let the Palestinians go back. … Egypt doesn't want to be dragged into the war if militants infiltrate an open border, prompting Israeli attacks and Egyptian counterattacks. Egypt's President Abdel Fattah el-Sisi said early in the war that he believed Israel was trying to push Palestinians into his country by curbing supplies of food, medicine, fuel, water and other basics in the territory. … In recent weeks, Egyptian diplomats have signaled to some of their Western counterparts that Egypt could suspend its 1979 peace treaty with Israel if an Israeli offensive in Rafah pushes people into the Sinai.
  6. It wasn’t a ceasefire Israel ever would agree to. No ceasefire agreement was ever made. Israel agreed to a temporary ceasefire and Hamas and Egypt changed it to a permanent ceasefire. The difference is material. You’re logic is you agree to buy a car for $1 and if I don’t sell it to you for the $1 you agreed to i’m ****ting all over the deal and therefore it’s my fault.
  7. I am sure about that. Egypt isn’t happy about it beause signals an operation is happening. They obviously don’t want it to happen at all, but they really don’t want Palestinians refugees and terrorists crossing into their country.
  8. The move is an attempt to appease Egypt who doesn’t want an influx of Palestinians crossing into Egypt when the battle starts.
  9. I said protestors not students. Hanging your hat on the fact that he isn’t a student is a little silly. I think I saw that guy in a Jan 6 picture too… he gets around 🤷‍♀️
  10. I’m convinced Tesla has solved fsd based on my usage of it. I have driven about 100 miles on fsd with zero interventions. Some times I press the gas pedal to get it to turn faster than it wants too.
  11. We see protestors wearing Hamas headbands…. Happy now? Like I said, this would end with you acting dumb 🤷‍♀️
  12. So I guess they were small flags?
  13. The Newsweek article said flags. But flags or headbands, the difference is immaterial to my point.
  14. My statements were 100 percent correct. Your posting bull**** doesn’t change that. I posted what was reported. If you don’t want to believe it don’t believe it. Take it up with newsweek. What was reported not fitting with your narrative is your problem. As to your last sentence, I didn’t say it did. I said the opposite, actually.
  15. Bozo, protestor, what’s the difference? The Newsweek article describes two people, so that would be bozos I guess.
  16. I mean, I’m going to post it.. but you or someone else is gonna come up with some bull**** reason why it isn’t actually exactly what I said it was… https://www.newsweek.com/campus-protesters-spotted-wearing-hamas-headbandswhat-we-know-1895202 Photos thought to have been taken at recent pro-Palestinian protests at U.S. University campuses show two people wearing Hamas headbands among the crowds. The first appears to be someone wearing a Hamas headband and a face covering, purportedly taken at Stanford University in California. The second image shows another person wearing what looks like a Hamas headband and waving a flag, supposedly at Washington University in St. Louis.
  17. I don’t think this is a great argument. It’s a problem with the media. We see these crazy ass protestors on TV waving Hamas flags and jump to the conclusion that anyone questioning Israel is being pro Hamas. Few arguments worth less than the for or against us argument. We should all agree that countries should avoid committing war crimes and not excuse it as necessarily justified while acknowledging the reality that no country at war lives up to those standards. The only deterrent to war crimes is penalties for anyone who commits them, but we have a long way to go until anything close to that happens.
  18. Israel has no obligation to agree to a ceasefire on Hamas’ terms. Israel shouldn’t stop till they weed out Hamas in Rafah. Otherwise we’ll be back here in a few years. Thats the most likely scenario anyway, but allowing Hamas safe harbor in rajah guarantees it.
  19. Now we have to wonder what the ceasefire proposal is one that Israel agrees to. There were some Twitter sources claiming that the US told Hamas the ceasefire would be permanent but Israel as insisted it would only be temporary.
  20. If the collages were interested in holding a commencement they could find a way to do that even at a later date. This is kinda like a convenient excuse I think.
  21. Oh, we have threads for all the races. What may be an image from the black terrorism thread.
  22. Awe, chat bot is lonely and wants a family. With AI, the battle can continue long after we are dead 🌈
