I'm not debating anything, just want to correct the record on Gore. He tore both his ACL's while in college. Frank Gore is already one of the most accomplished former Miami Hurricanes football players to ever grace the gridiron. We just got a new puppy today and she's as cute as can be. The fam is buzzing and my son and I are ready for the game tomorrow. I've taught him to approach all games hopeful but cautious, lol, as the gints usually play us tough no matter what. This is one I would like to see Sam take that next step and absolutely crush the gnats at least offensively. Expecting the unexpected and hoping we come out on top...Lets Go Ders! HTTR..!

Man, this is sobering news. I can't believe its been 15 years since I've been here. All I can say is when the site is down I feel like I've lost my keys, or phone or wallet, LOL. I'm lost a bit, without it. Having said that, anything I can do to be part of making sure this place continues in some form, with the essential people, count me in for the cause of those willing to help/work/contribute to making sure the community survives and thrives.

At my daughters Olympic Development practices for soccer. She’s having a weekend with a goal today and solid play. Enjoyed some Woodford Reserve good food and good company tonight. Looking to finish it off strong tomorrow then head back home. Will stream the game from the field. Ready for our Boys to take it to the Pats but you just never know with this team. Need Sam to continue to develop. HTTR! LFG!

Favorite thread. At a tournament with my team and kids, so fun times. Lots of Whiskey tonight with some coaches and parents. Loving it. Boys should make the finals, girls are out. Skins should play hard and come out with the W but you never know with these guys. I too have had just about enough with JDR. He hasn't been great this year, but there is a long way to go. Hopefully he raises his game because we need it.

Sam is outstanding for a guy making his 7th start. He is accurate, always looking downfield, stout, durable, and tough as nails. Just when you think it's punt time because its 3rd and 9 he laughs in your face and moves the chains easily. With all that said, of the 34 sacks we've given up this year, my unscientific but educated eyeballs put at least 14 on him. Today I put all 5 on him. For real. The Oline is not great, and probably somewhere around 15th-23rd best in the league, but Sam needs to find a way to improve this area of his game, for his health and the teams success.

I love Sam and hope nothing but the best for him and us. But, For all the talk of our very porous oline and the number of rushers sent by the Buffalo D, I heard a stat on a radio show that Sam held the ball at least 4 seconds for every one of his sacks. Can anyone corroborate that? Is that true?

I don't disagree, I don't want him running a ton either or using it as a crutch. Just looking for him to find that optimum balance on best decision making which is in there somewhere. I do think his processing time will improve with NFL reps. I understand his tendencies and history but I gotta think it will get better the more he sees NFL coverages and deals with NFL Dlines.

Love the way Sam is playing. He's calm and strong in the pocket. As everyone can see his internal clock needs adjustment with regard to the pressure. I think it will come with reps. I don't mind he wants to hang in and find that big play. I wouldn't mind him looking to run a bit more when the opportunity presents itself given the look. Seems to be only doing it in the utmost worse case scenario. That should also improve with reps. I can't remember the last time I was this excited to watch a qb play for us, love what we are seeing from the youngster. The year to adjust and develop without pressure is bearing fruit as we speak. It won't be all glory but I get the sense it will be incredibly fun. Huge Sam Fan..
