  1. Yeah for sure, hard to argue. They've been beyond frustrating pre playoffs. But still, I wouldn't count us out just yet. Don't let go of the rope...
  2. Yep, well we’ll see. I like the odds better this way. A Chip and Chair..
  3. Jimmy and Bam crapped the bed tonight offensively. Look no further. No excuses. Gotta now get it done in a tough place to play. You lose this and history will be laugh in your face forever. Tighten up and Get it done.
  4. So yeah this is all just guess work and there are always lingering doubts. Do I feel great about our Oline? No. Have we surprised before with having a more than serviceable Oline with not a lot of resources? Yes Do I feel really excited about what EB can mean for our offense, despite question 1? Absolutely. I think what we may be seeing with this possible "uncertainty" regarding Ron and how he's feeling may be a number of things : the whole ownership thing, his job status, how the draft went, 2nd guessing, what the future holds, his health, gas, del rio... What I like about what I'm hearing, is that EB isn't sitting around sulking about what he has. He's getting down to it and working with what he has. The Obstacle is the Only way Through, so lets go. That is the right way to go about it. Coaching matters in this league and I like what I'm hearing and seeing regarding our O. It won't be perfect but I do think it will way better than people imagine today.
  5. I don't disagree with a lot of what you assume here except your bottomline.... but I get the impression that wasn't their intention and deep down realize it might end up costing them the season, but will see. I don't agree with this assumption at all, in the slightest. I don't believe they are going into this year thinking their moves in the offseason, may cost them the season. There is a big leap between not getting exactly what you want and how you want it........ to........we are screwed. 🤷‍♂️
  6. All of those are a fair set of assumptions. But, we don't know that EB didn't get a lot of what he wanted this offseason. Maybe that was what was on his wish list. A mild upgrade to the Online with a couple guys he respects highly and an athlete who can play both guard and tackle. The weapons in the run and pass game are 100% legit. You have a backup plan in case injury at qb. idk, it could be worse. I don't get the impression that he would just sit back and accept a situation which he felt he had one hand tied behind his back. Maybe he's 100% on board with what they did and even led it to a degree, we really don't know. Just a thought.
  7. Got to Buckle down and put them away. Still believe in the boys to get it done no matter what.
  8. Yeah, I don’t think it’s any extra pressure. You get the opportunity to do what you've wanted to do forever. What you’ve dreamed of doing all your life. And what you’ve prepared to do since you got in the league, learning from some of the best around. I’m excited for him and by extension for us. I think it’s gonna be a fun ride this year.
  9. For me Bienemy is by far our biggest offseason acquisition. That video from Hoffman and Paulsen really nails down what we are trying to be offensively. It's exciting as hell that you add Howell under that context and it takes Howell's potential to a different level for me. You aren't talking about treading lightly as an offense imo. I get the sense we will be attacking and aggressive at every turn. Thats gotta excite Sam and the other players offensively.
  10. Let’s Go!! One more to go…3-0. 8th seed Represent!
  11. Yes, yes, for sure, I was only referring to our Cb’s…..when you look at the whole DB core, oh nelly. We are stacked. You are correct. Love all the youth, quality, And speed..Can’t wait to see it all come together.
  12. Ah I see, all good! I’ll say it’s a pretty fun game, nothing crazy, but definitely a good time.
  13. Will be nice to have the extra ammo at DB. Forbes, Fuller, St. Juste and Martin is a damn good CB room. I mean damn good. Cannot wait to watch them in action. Maybe give our DL that extra tick to get there a whole lot more.
  14. Not sure how everyone is feeling about the schedule but just saw this and found it to be very interesting regarding next year. 2nd most rest differential, I'll take it.
  15. Florio truly remains insufferable with that article.. Making them revise the bid is not the same as rejecting it. ugh.
  16. For you it’s a real and valid concern, I understand. For the Commanders FO I’d say it’s much less so given the 1st round commitment. For me, it’s a nothing burger given it hasn’t been an actual problem yet up to this point in his career. I guess I’ll worry about it if we actually have to is all. 🤷🏽‍♂️
  17. Excited to see our defensive backfield in action. I think it can be special. I don't expect Fuller to be let go, I'd think maybe a short term extension to lower his cap and keep him around for a couple more years.
  18. The weight convo is already the most silly, over hyped, annoying thing ever, lol. Sheesh...lol.
  19. He plays super small too often. He’s still really good though.
  20. You guys need to subtract any UDFA's from your overall score, wink wink ahem....... The Commanders scored a resounding + 324 we kicked some butt.. Witherspoon +11 Mauch -1 Henley +12 Spears + 37 McGuire + 27 Warren +73 Strange +135 Richards +46 Johnson Jr. -9 Knowles UDFA -7
  21. I believe the 1st round pick they traded was the one they got from Cleveland. So it would be Clevelands pick not the texans pick.. I believe that is correct. If I understood what I read correctly. Just a heads up not a biggie just sharing the info.. ARI trades No. 3 to HOU for No. 12 Date: April 27, 2023 The Houston Texans sent the No. 12 pick, their second-round pick (No. 33) and first- and third-round picks in 2024 to the Arizona Cardinals for the Cardinals' first-round pick (No. 3) and fourth-round pick this year (No. 105). The 2024 first-rounder the Texans traded is the one they received from the Browns in the Deshaun Watson trade. The Texans used the pick to select Alabama edge rusher Will Anderson Jr. The Cardinals traded the No. 12 pick to the Lions to trade up to draft Ohio State offensive tackle Paris Johnson Jr.
