I think it's a complete over reaction to Forbes on this board, we are nothing if not extreme, LOL. After giving it some thought..... First: Mocks, draftniks, and talking heads are just some of the guides, datapoints, and opinions in this process. They are not facts or reality. Second: The last time people had this type of disagreement or judgement about a player's size was with Devonta Smith. He's just too small for the NFL, he's gonna get crushed. Well how did that turn out? 95 catches 1196 yards 7 Touchdowns. I think as his body matures as a young man, with the NFL strength and conditioning program, this will be an absolute nothing burger from day 1. Third: This Defense has no playmakers, we just got the best playmaker coming out of the draft at CB. 14 Int's 6 TD's 150 Tackles in 3 years. Fourth: Why draft a corner that cannot play and excel in what we specialize and run for our defense? We run zone some 60% I believe. This dude excels in zone and can hang in man too (as a bonus). We chose him over some other perceived higher prospects because he can do what we need him to do for US. Im in for Forbes and I like the FO's conviction on picking who they feel is best for us. Let's Go Get it!

I hadn't considered Forbes at our pick but if they feel he's got the goods I'd be fine with it. Boy Kincaid sure moves like Kelce, wonder if it has EB pounding on the table for him.. Will be interesting to see what we do...

I wasn’t saying Ron would acquire picks for 2024 in hopes of keeping his job, but that he’d do it because it’s the best for the organization. You can win now and still make picks for right now. Trading down is just that, trading down but still making picks to help you today. Not to mention value depending on the position. So what I’m saying is that it would not surprise me in the least if we trade down for extra picks this year and grab some for next year too. Trading down is the key for me.. We’ll see how it shakes out, it needs to present itself. I hope it does.

Could accumulating picks for 2024, especially a 1st if possible, endure this FO to the potential new owners?

I understand it takes two..but.....My hope is either one of the top CB's fall or one of the top Left Tackles falls, if not trade down, trade down, trade down. Then grab an OL we love who can preferably play left tackle (1), or right tackle (2) or worst case Guard (3)....Ideally Harrison or Jones (assuming they believe they can play LT) in the late 20's/early30's.. Maybe having EB we'll get a curveball with a stud TE at 16? If it's not TE, or if Witherspoon/Rodriguez/Banks are gone then and only then am I fine with an RT big boy like Wright. I'd just exhaust all other options before going that route. That's just my opinion..I'll be rooting like hell we get it right tomorrow night...fingers crossed for more picks..!

Isn’t Wylie significantly better at T then at G? I thought his metrics stated as much. Really hoping we get to trade down or someone else falls to us. Don’t love the OL shuffle for an RT. It is what it is I guess, would just love a different option.

The Floods and Water damage here in SFL is no joke. It seems to have been raining for about 4 days straight, like biblical style. Lot's of homes and cars totally wrecked.
