Broken #1QB. Now who should start?

This was the exact point I was making, but someone dismissed me as "cute" for it. smh -

No, I have no doubt they'll be dead in the water before that. I just don't think, if TH is healthy and playing at any kind of competent level (i.e. - scoring points and not fumbling/throwing multiple picks every game), that they go into "evaluate for next year" mode until December. I actually wish they'd just put Howell in sooner than later, but the optics would be terrible for a HC who believes they are going to turn things around this season. -

Ron's only move at this point in the season is to go with the number 2 guy. Skipping over a decent backup to see what a rookie has tells the team they are looking toward next season. That's not the message you want to send after having only played 6 games so far. If they're dead in the water at week 14, sure, see what the rookie can do. -

Only one way to find out. Maybe he has a higher football IQ than Wentz. Maybe he'll click better with the WRs and TEs. Maybe he'll be mobile enough to extend plays with his legs, which Wentz seems to have lost the ability to do (though he's proven he can throw a nasty block). If that's true, we should find out sooner than later, so we know he's not the guy going forward. This is no longer a league where you can sit a young guy with potential for 3 or 4 years before he gets his chance. -
Is he contractually obligated to clean them up afterwards?

If the team hadn't rebranded, and if I could still be planning to raise my boys as Redskins fans, I'd grab some deep discounted tickets and be happy to take them to a half empty stadium. I hate events that are too peopley, so it would be perfect. I'll never tell people to stay away. It's your team and your money. Be a fan in whatever way you want.

This streaming crap is for the birds. You guys were talking about the turnover a full minute before I even saw it. Keeps refreshing. -
I just shook my head when they traded for Wentz, but as the season drew near, I was hopeful he'd regain some of what he had in his good seasons with the Eagles. I also thought he's a much better guy than Indy was trying to get people to believe. But his inconsistency is hard to watch. HIs lack of mobility hurts him, and makes the line look even worse because he can't get away if he holds the ball longer than the line can help protect him (which is often). If they lose to the Bears and Wentz looks really bad, I'd be okay with a switch to Howell. For those who say "oh, if he plays too soon he'll be ruined." Well, so be it. If he's not mentally tough enough to get thrown into the fire, then we don't want him anyway, and they'll know they still need to find a QB next season.

I spent my life thinking that I would pass on my love for the Redskins to my sons if I ever had any. I have two boys now, and they barely even look at the TV when I watch football. Just not interested. Probably for the better. But if they decide to start watching, I'll tell them they should pick whatever team they like. I definitely won't try to persuade them to root for the Commodes. Breaks my heart, but I can't set them up for that kind of disappointment.

Yeah, but ESPN didn't show it. And Aikman started to comment, saying "That fan..." And then they must have cut his mic for a moment, and Buck just started talking about something else. Something else wrong with the NFL. In the past, that whole exchange would have been shown, and then shown from multiple angles in replay, with the commentators making fun of the fan. Madden would have been drawing a circle around the guy, and an arrow showing Wagner's path to hitting the guy.
