I'm thinking we go 2-3 down the stretch (losses to NYG, DAL, SF). And we can't forget Watson will be back for the Browns game, with 4 games between now and then to get up to game speed. He could elevate the Browns performance by then.

I just can't get my expectations high enough to think the Skins will sweep the Giants. And I'm picking this to be the game they lose to them (Giants on extra rest/prep for this one, whereas we have our bye before the rematch). The Falcons run game worked well against our D. If Carolina can have a nice statue of Sam Mills outside their stadium, and the city of Philadelphia can have a statue of Rocky Balboa - a fictional boxer - then why couldn't the team spring for an actual statue for Taylor? One of the only times I felt for Snyder was when ST was killed. He really seemed to love having him on the team, as did Coach Gibbs. This mannequin is ridiculous.

All of that is true, but I guess I question why he'd want to go away from what's working right now. He's probably no more sold on TH than any of us, but he's got a team that's winning right now, perhaps despite TH, but still winning. I can't picture him going home and telling his wife "Yeah, we won the game. But damn, if I could just put Wentz back in I'd be really happy."

What makes you think he really wants to make a change? He was disappointed in Wentz before he got hurt, and QB2 has been at the helm for 6 wins.

I'm excited for Davis as well. He's really coming along. Seems to be reading plays much better and not reacting too late. With his speed and athleticism, he's going to be really good when he doesn't have to think too much. He's getting there.

Because the goal for every season is to be a playoff team. As for draft position, you deal with that in the offseason. If they were willing to put the 2nd pick up as part of the trade, then they have to be ready to part with it. It's the old Vegas saying "You only gamble with money you expect to lose."
