    Off topic, but I'm a bit disappointed in the Manning brothers decision to be in the Caesars sports betting commercials. I see the Manning family as ambassadors for the game, and the NFL's legitimization of betting on football is disgusting. They shouldn't stoop to that level.

    Just nothing else to say about this anymore. Dan's time is over. It has to be. it's just one thing after another, year after year. The fans don't deserve this. The players don't need to work in this environment. Whether or not this suit goes anywhere at all, it needs to be the final straw for the other owners to kick him out of their club. They should accept nothing less than a full sale of the franchise, and for Dan to do it as soon as possible. It's just gotta be the end.

    Just saw ESPN's promo for the game. The voiceover says "Washington is set to take command..." And I laughed out loud. So cringey. I just hate this ****ing rebrand in every way.

    Ok, thank you for making some sense of it for me. As much as I love football, I kind of prefer to watch it on TV than make an expensive day of it at the game, so I don't know all the logistical stuff. DC is unique in that so many people go there from other regions for work and/government service, and the team's drop off in quality means a lot of people moving there aren't adopting the team as their own.

    I'm not understanding why that would be. (Admittedly, I've never looked into buying NFL tickets. Almost every game I've gone to, the tickets were given to me, or someone else in my group did the buying for all of us.) If there was a renewed interest by fans in buying season tickets, wouldn't ALL the seats in the lower bowl be available before fans of other teams could buy them?

    If Snyder sells the team, many fans will start going to the games again and it won't look like that.

    I can only speak for myself, but I hate the new name, and I don't think it's irrational of me to hate it. I haven't even verbalized the word since they announced it, except for when my wife asked me what they picked on 2/2/22. I won't buy any new merch with that name on it, even if Dan leaves. And this is from someone who didn't feel strongly about any of the other names that were being considered.

    The investigations... The owners starting to turn on him... His dream of being the next owner to build a state of the art modern facility dying on the vine... The hatred from fans... It's probably all gotten to the point of no return for him. Thank God!!!!

    So, R. Smith gets traded to the Ravens for a couple draft picks next year. Any word on whether Washington made an offer? He's a great LB who would have instantly upgraded our defense, especially since we did nothing to upgrade the position from last season. It would be upsetting to find out they didn't even call Chicago about him. I can understand though if he wanted to go to a more competitive team.

    Where do you get that **** from? Why would a WSH fan root for the Cowboys over the Packers (unless it's a game with some kind of playoff ramifications for the Redskins)? I think you've been eating one too many cheese filled brats.

    Really thought this was going to be a "get right" game for the Packers, but they've really got some problems in GB.
