  1. Change winner-take-all to something more proportional. Get rid of super-delegates. This will make it harder to get to a majority of EC votes for President. Will have to add some type of first choice, second choice, or some type of extra run-off elections.
  2. Asbury served as the tailgate's twa for a while. This board used to lean heavy right. I'd say Asbury's taken 10times the lumps as twa dealing with the likes of Sarge and co on the daily.
  3. This is 2019, within 30 seconds I can be simultaneously watching/reading 50 news sources at once. When I look for news I do a sweep through maybe 5+ sources. Visionary is #1!
  4. Aight. Just a side note, but I'd be weary assuming you know Mueller's intentions. There's no reason other than speculation to believe Mueller won't say, agree with the Attorney General and also agree to censor the report. I'd also be weary on having a black and white POV here. (as in Trump either committed a crime or didn't) Its quite possible the report cites evidence of crimes but Barr/Mueller choose not to indict a sitting President over them.
  5. I'm honestly not following you. Congress will subpoena the Attorney General to release the full report. (if he censors it) It will then be settled in court. Congress can also call on Mueller to testify and Barr will probably try and block that somehow. Again it will settled in court. Mueller can't release the report himself if that's what you're implying. (It may be technically possible through many complicated hoops)
  6. That's not how it works unfortunately: https://www.law.cornell.edu/cfr/text/28/600.8 § 600.8 Notification and reports by the Special Counsel. (a)Budget. (1) A Special Counsel shall be provided all appropriate resources by the Department of Justice. Within the first 60 days of his or her appointment, the Special Counsel shall develop a proposed budget for the current fiscal year with the assistance of the Justice Management Division for the Attorney General's review and approval. Based on the proposal, the Attorney General shall establish a budget for the operations of the Special Counsel. The budget shall include a request for assignment of personnel, with a description of the qualifications needed. (2) Thereafter, 90 days before the beginning of each fiscal year, the Special Counsel shall report to the Attorney General the status of the investigation, and provide a budget request for the following year. The Attorney General shall determine whether the investigation should continue and, if so, establish the budget for the next year. (b)Notification of significant events. The Special Counsel shall notify the Attorney General of events in the course of his or her investigation in conformity with the Departmental guidelines with respect to Urgent Reports. (c)Closing documentation. At the conclusion of the Special Counsel's work, he or she shall provide the Attorney General with a confidential report explaining the prosecution or declination decisions reached by the Special Counsel.
  7. ? How could Mueller be complicit in a cover-up simply by completing his job? Mueller's special counsel; not the Attorney General. Mueller will release his report to Barr and Barr will summarize the report to Congress. If Trump is not indicted or Barr decides Trump can't be indicted then Barr can block anything in the report that reflects poorly on Trump. (*This is not up to Mueller) This is why Trump can just continue with his "No Collusion" regardless of how many people around him go down because he knows the report won't be made public. Or at least that's what he's banking on.
  8. Think some cultural differences here on the egg in the head thing. An American teen might throw an egg at a politician, but smash it point blank on his head, then have the old dude counter with a left...? Aussies man.
  9. Kinda Marvel'd out. Will watch some of these when they come out later. Captain Marvel looks really good in the effects department. I'll def be missing out there. Have zero interest in the story anymore and Captain Marvel isn't a character I care that much about. Last Avengers was good enough ending IMO.
  10. Yea, let's not go nuts here. RIP Tom Petty.
  11. Hey now, he did throw the Muslim scum a bone there. This guy lived in Silver Spring though? Scary. Some good info from this WP article: https://www.washingtonpost.com/local/public-safety/self-proclaimed-white-nationalist-planned-mass-terror-attack-government-says-i-am-dreaming-of-a-way-to-kill-almost-every-last-person-on-earth/2019/02/20/61daf6b8-3544-11e9-af5b-b51b7ff322e9_story.html?noredirect=on&utm_term=.47c96f047758 Hasson has been working at the U.S. Coast Guard headquarters in Washington since 2016, according to court documents filed by prosecutors. He also served in the U.S. Marine Corps between 1988 to 1993 and in the Army National Guard for about two years in the mid-1990s, the filings state. ... Court documents do not detail what prompted federal law enforcement to begin investigating Hasson, but contend that Hasson had been studying the 1,500-page manifesto of right-wing terrorist Anders Behring Breivik, who unleashed two attacks in 2011 that killed 77 people in Norway, and echoed Breivik’s attack preparations. ... When law enforcement raided Hasson’s apartment, they said they found a locked container loaded with more than 30 vials of what appeared to be human growth hormone. He has also ordered more than 4,200 pills of the narcotic Tramadol since 2016, along with synthetic urine to allegedly bypass possible random drug screenings at work, they said. ... Breivik encouraged identifying targets and traitors. In recent weeks, according to the court filings, Hasson developed a spreadsheet of targets that included top Democratic congressional leaders and media personalities. The list includes “JOEY,” what prosecutors say is a reference to former congressman Joe Scarborough (R-Fla.), now of MSNBC; “cortez,” an alleged reference to freshman Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York); and “Sen blumen jew,” presumably about Sen. Richard Blumenthal (D-Conn.).
  12. Aww man, now I'm really sad for some reason. Like one of my heroes just went down.
  13. The 2 men he paid to orchestrated the attack were 2 Nigerian dudes? This guy's either a complete nutjob or a complete idiot.
  14. I've been enjoying watching these new guys play. Portis' been struggling lately but just needs to keep at it. He clearly got fouled at the end of the quarter there. Tough tonight in Detroit with only Randle at PG though.
  15. That's just how the video game industry works these days across the board PB. All games have to be monetized now with some sort of continuos service or through small in-game purchases.
  16. That's a tough one, but Trump aint those things; not really at his core. (narcissist) Those are more symptoms. I guarantee you Trump lives up to his word 100% of the time; to himself. You can't steal anything if you think the world is yours... and so on. Anyway, you deal with Trump the way Pelosi is currently. You equal or top his media coverage. Atm Pelosi's face is right up there next to Trump's in the top stories and she's also the top story at times. We're discussing her right with Trump right now. She's not the top story on Trump's terms which is how she's winning. (atm) You can tell she's winning because Trump gave up the address without too much of a hissy fit. This is a guy who goes on tweet rages at night after watching the news.
  17. I honestly cant remember more then 3 seconds of venom. I can recite the entire terrible plot of Predator in my head though.
  18. Gotta go with at least a 2/10 on Predator simply because it was better then Venom, IMO. Wow was that **** terrible though. There's a supply dump of info online on what went wrong. Apparently they had so many remakes the final result is 2-3 plotlines. Venom = 1/10 for sure. Can hardly remember enough of it to know how bad it was. Mid 90's, Jonah Hill directed movie about 90's skate kids. Fantastic, 8.5/10. Overly dramatic but the characters are awesome. Reminded me too much of real people to be 100% fiction. Hill is definitely in my generation, could relate to entire movie.
  19. I was just having this conversation with my brother who doesn't watch horror movies. The last one he watched was Hostel and he said it sucked. I've always watched horror and its hard to differentiate these days, they're all kinda the same. (always been that way maybe?) Some good TV shows come to mind. But like Beal is saying, in my head I can't differentiate between the Conjuring, Sinister, Insidious... All the same ****, none of it is great. I guess Get Out was good, not sure that was actually horror, more like a thriller. Zombie and Post-Apocalypse seem to be their own genre now. Even then, A Quiet Place, Bird Box same ****. The slasher films all blend together, how man Saw films are there? Sometimes a foreign take is refreshing. The Babadook is definitely the same **** but an Australian film so a bit more interesting. The Ritual is a British film that takes place in Sweden, enjoyed that one. Can't think of a really great horror movie without it being a Zombie thing, or a TV Show. I remember Anthony Mackie who plays Falcon on Avengers talking about the industry a while back and noting the top show atm was Stranger Things, but it was just a Goonies remake.
  20. I love Wall but hes got bad knees and bone spurs in his foot with a 170million contract extension. He's about to be making 40million a year. Thats straight garbage. Id dump him ASAP for absolutely nothing. This is the 2nd lockerroom in a row thats had big problems, last one was the Arenas team. Something wrong internally with this franchise.
  21. Smear the franchise? Im shocked anyone cares. This franchise is garbage atm.
  22. This is the Washington Wizards, a nothing team in the East that hasnt been a contender for 30+ years. You should be happy a journalist even bothers to write a puff piece.
  23. Disagree. Great article, spent the whole day with Sato to get it. Gave some interesting insights on euro bball. Wall is our franchise player and this team is 100% done. He's going to get all the blame and bad press until he's on another team.
  24. Useful information? Shared? Wtf, how much is that internal polling data worth to a foreign entity? Gotta be millions... 10's, 100's?
