  1. Tim Kaine questioning Acosta about Epstein case during confirmation hearings (3/22/17) - Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9aj9DoAnEM&t=273s *Acosta was top story on Fox News for about 10 seconds. Guess someone didn't like where that was going.
  2. So we put AG Barr on it. Oh and our current Sec of Labor Acosta can assist. They'll get to the bottom if it and hold people accountable.
  3. Amazing how these charges were dropped in 2016 and the main defense from Trump was that this was such a ridiculous story it couldn't possibly be true.
  4. This happened in the 90's. The girls are in their 30's now. From what I gather at a glance, Dershowitz claims he has emails from the accuser's lawyers proving they made it up. The Boies lawyers seem to claim Dershowtiz fabricated those emails or something on that nature. (I might be mixing some things up) They represent the accuser. @visionaryposted this article in the other thread: Miami Herald: Dershowitz v. Boies: Jeffrey Epstein case unleashes war between two legal Goliaths
  5. Troy's shot has really improved but I don't see that much off the dribble or in the half court. In transition he looks fantastic, in the half court I see him drive directly into defenders and get swallowed up. He needs playing time.
  6. I'd argue the NBA team doesn't matter anymore. Kawhi wants to play in Los Angeles, not play for the Clippers. If it was the Arizona Clippers Kawhi would be playing for the LA (insert team). I think it more started when an endorsement deal became more important then an NBA contract. Nike started running the league far before this situation we have now. If you look back at KD joining the Warriors, he simply was a FA and went to the best team. Earlier in the NBA this simply wasn't possible. You couldn't afford 3+ All-Star contracts and have 5 Bird-Exception salaries on your team.
  7. Howard couldn't even sit down, let alone play professional basketball.
  8. Really liked Sato and watching him develop. Writing was on the wall though when we brought in Rivers last season and curbed Sato's minutes.
  9. Speaking of legal streaming, how are ya'll planning on watching games next season? I've been linking from reddit for the last decade for NBA.
  10. If we're going to suck next year can we start Devin Robinson and Jordan McRae every game for fun?
  11. You can't extrapolate stats in football my man. I don't disagree; I'm personally excited about the pick, but at the end of the day we have to admit that the guy doesn't really have all that much production in college. IMO, anyone expecting this kid to make an immediate impact needs to hamper their expectations. Of course our starting WRs are Docston and PRich right now.
  12. Year Team G Rush Yds Yd/Rush TDs Rec Yds Yd/Rec TDs 2015 OhioSt 13 0 0 - 0 0 0 - 0 2016 OhioSt 13 0 0 - 0 11 114 10.4 2 2017 OhioSt 14 0 0 - 0 29 436 15.0 6 2018 OhioSt 12 0 0 - 0 35 701 20.0 11 Career 52 0 0 - 0 75 1251 16.7 19 Obviously this is the elephant in the room here. 75 career catches in 4 seasons just isn't much production. He only caught 35 balls last season. Now the advanced stats are all great: 20 ypr, target catch%, his receiving yards per target were through the roof, 11 TDs in 35 Receptions is insane, etc. He was drafted for his 4.35 speed and special teams, which in fairness makes McClaurin a reach. Not quite like drafting Hardman in the early 2nd, but we're still assuming McClaurin's talent/intangibles will translate on the field in some way. That's always something I'm wearing of predicting. Some of the first words out of Jonathn Allen's mouth about Montez Sweat was that he has the production on the field to match his talent. There's also our current WR core, or lack of one, and the new QBs to consider.
  13. Jamison had to play the 4 with the Wiz, but in his prime he was more of a 3. He was never going to enforce the paint or bang underneath.
  14. 9 was a pretty poor spot this draft. Hachimura will have to increase his range and gamespeed to translate his game to the NBA. He also can't play any D.... but that fits right in with the rest of the team.
  15. Trump softens his stance on Iran. Putin condemns strike on Iran. 🤔
  16. School shootings are rampant right now. Are you sure the soft, idiot kids are running home or are they the easiest targets to be radicalized?
  17. They've been losing this battle my entire life while the right has been steadily gaining. We're now at the point where the battle seems to be completely lost, the GOP won.
  18. Do I work for the FBI or the Attorney General? How the hell would I know internal DOJ guidelines? Mueller just explained it to you. Guidelines said he couldnt charge a sitting President, without a charge he's not allowed to conclude said President committed a crime.
  19. It's not a law. Its DOJ guidelines. Your response is literally if I walked into a McDonalds demanding free cheeseburgers asking what law prevents them from giving me free cheeseburgers.
  20. VICE: A Minor-League Baseball Team Is Sorry About That Video With AOC and Kim Jong Un This is an actual controversy and not a game of Mad Libs gone awry: A minor-league baseball team is apologizing for showing Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez as an enemy of freedom in a Memorial Day tribute video that had her right in there with Kim Jong Un. California’s Class AAA Fresno Grizzlies, a minor-league affiliate of the Washington Nationals, broadcast a video between games at a doubleheader Monday that played a speech by Ronald Reagan over a montage of images. When Reagan mentioned “enemies of freedom,” the slideshow featured images of the North Korean dictator Kim, former Cuban President Fidel Castro, black-flag anarchists, and a certain famous freshman congresswoman from the Bronx.
