  1. In reality most cops don't shoot their weapon. Weapons training costs money and at the least requires a firing range. Cop shows and movies always have the firing range scene with the cops shooting the targets/cutouts which is bs too. Every police station doesn't just have a firing range to practice even if the officers wanted too. Operating a firing range, not out in the sticks somewhere either but inside a major metropolitan area or city is not easy nor is it cheap. The insurance alone is probably a deal-breaker.
  2. https://www.epicgames.com/store/en-US/product/ark/home?sessionInvalidated=true ARK: Survival Evolved is free this week on the Epic Games Store. Fyi.
  3. (Uncensored link btw, NSFW) Stop blowing your nose, I wanna hear this!
  4. We have the procedures, the strategies, stockpiles of supplies, and the CDC. They're all worthless if no one in charge can implement them or coordinate it nationally. They're also all worthless when we just divert all the money away during the next emergency or crisis.
  5. Apologies if this has been posted before: Love how Terry uses his hands against Gilmore. When this guy says attack the weak/back shoulder, Terry actually attacks the back shoulder.
  6. Those are examples of the system failing because there were 3 viable candidates. Nixon winning without the majority created all sorts of redistricting issues that were eventually fixed/changed/gerrymandered to form the 2 main parties we have today. So fine or not, it still dissolved down into 2 parties. Otherwise every election wouldn't have a majority winner which at its core is an unrepresentative government.
  7. The system as a whole is not designed for 3 parties. Even if we had 3, it would dissolve back down to 2 at some point. If you think of a basic election, 3 or more viable candidates eventually comes down to 2; otherwise the winners are winning without a majority.
  8. With the power of google, and its fairly obvious if you just think about the statistics, but the most common 911 calls are traffic/auto related and health related. (and I'm sure false calls/pranks/bored people/dumb cell phones with rolly things that can dial Japan and send 5 emails in your pocket) "Chest Pains" or problems breathing I believe are the most common 911 complaint. (narrowed down) Things like domestic violence or sexual assault rarely result in a call or formal complaint. Like I was saying before, calling 911 should send an ambulance with a soclial worker/paramedic. (doesn't mean it couldn't also call in armed police)
  9. The lack if training is a national problem across the board, not just police. (the lack of police training just seems so shocking) Part of it is how we measure success in this country. Training costs money and its hard to sell/market.
  10. Good thing our leaders are really getting down to business here on what's really important for America. Listening to the Rosenstein hearings is ****ing nauseating.
  11. We'll see man, curfew's approaching and still big crowds. btw, being out of state, I always glance at the traffic cams to confirm what I'm watching live: http://app.ddot.dc.gov/ Its hard to confirm what's actually live vs live footage.
  12. I don't mean cops go away, I mean an actual cop that carries a gun and can arrest people be a more specialized position. Whereas, say, the person who goes in to handle domestic violence, or a drug overdose, or whatever non-violent everyday problem on the street is a peace-officer. (that doesn't make sense, I probably mean un-armed type violence)
  13. Its gotta be done nationally right? Many areas already have some version of this to use as a roadmap. Further, its clear to me we need some type of community based police force without arrest authority in this country that is unarmed. (some sort of peace-force) The authority to use lethal force, use lethal weapons and conduct arrests or detain people by force should only be for higher trained specialists. Now before everyone starts on the obvious problems of some wussy unarmed authority in America vs armed criminals on the streets; you gotta see the entire concept... I'm visualizing we replace the everyday street cop with basically a community peace-officer of some sort. (basically a Firefighter or a Paramedic, a big red Firetruck or a white Ambulance, etc) So everyday, instead of an officer pulling you over for speeding, you have some sort of Ambulance/safety vehicle that helps control traffic. The cop on the street is there to serve the community vs arrest criminals. 911 would call in a Peace-Officer/EMS vs an Armed Policeman in most cases. Etc. This might seem ridiculous to some, that criminals/crime would run amuck, but I think overall the net would be positive. (factoring Community+Crime+Health) I'm also trying to think how you'd handle all the obvious problems but I'm a few drinks in.... and maybe I'm just drunk and rambling lol. I'm on to something here though.
  14. I keep thinking im craving food from my favorite spots... but when i do get takeout the food all tastes ridiculously salty/greasy to me now. Not just fast food or pizza but everything. My tastebuds have really changed cooking all my meals in just a cpl months.
  15. The ****pit, seats and control panel in that thing look awesome. Can sit in there and play with the buttons?
  16. Denver Capitol building looks like its getting out of control atm. President dumpy better get his ass in gear and start telling everyone to get along. I don't care if he's lying so hard his nose launches into orbit. *btw, the cop obviously choked the guy out and killed him because people were filming him and telling him to stop. He's no different then the dip****s who think they don't have to wear a mask simply because someone told them they have to wear it.
  17. Live Helicopter Feed of Minneapolis if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=inTN3C7kq-Y *Streams over
  18. Game is far more competitive these days; more geared towards quicker games vs multiple human opponents. You can still play single player and take your time. I believe you'll even get a $10 coupon if you create a new account and "purchase" Civilization VI for free. (counts as your first purchase or something like that)
  19. Trumpers are fat and out of shape. Plus they're constantly shoving cigarettes and and cheeseburgers in thier face. Side note, where i live the compromise seems to be a bandana as rancher/cowboy types already are used to wearing em. Apparently they're popular among young hipsters too.
  20. I still remember telling a dip**** she didn't have freedom of speech inside our coffee shop and she had to leave. (I was a teenager, this was a whike ago) She looked like I said the moon was made of cheese.
  21. Its not less risk to others though. People need this drug. (Malaria, Lupus, Rheumatoid Arthritis, Porphyria) I've never even heard of Porphyria and apparently it inflicts 200,000 Americans a year.
