  1. You’re right of course, but it’s not hard to imagine Putin thinking “eff it, this craps gone on long enough and my army is spent”. Sue for peace, redraw the maps as they are now and winner, winner chicken dinner!
  2. Heck, I want tackle & guard picks for the first 2 out of the gate, although I’d settle for 2 out of the three highest picks. If things keep tracking in the current direction, Howell will either finish the year in traction or become the most valuable asset the team has. Perhaps both! Regardless, the line needs a huge infusion of talent.
  3. It’s almost sounds like Ron was waiting for NY to make the call for him. It’s also a coaching faux pas that not only helps decide the game but also Ron’s future with the team. He has to know that tonight..
  4. Don’t they all? For over 30 years Washington has been a club where careers go to die. I don’t blame any of them (coaches or players) wanting out
  5. Can someone with a care, Please insert Ron’s face over Bagdad Bob so the healing can continue. Thank you. Concerned Fan
  6. Hell with the numbers, I’m more concerned about his body than anything.. Losing him to injury would be devastating to the team and his development. Nobody doubts his toughness but he’s not built for the beating he’s taking
  7. Joe Barry sighting! 🤢 Hard to believe he’s still coaching at the NFL level…
  8. So, who was the center at the time. Was it Casey Rabach? He would have been a weak link in just about any o-line..
  9. Here’s the thing though.. Every offseason all the teams put together a draft board / wish list comprised of thousands of data points marinated in eyeballs & gut feelings. Then on draft day they employ all that scientific methodology and when it’s their turn, send in the name of the player at the top of the <remaining> list. Some here might argue there’s more to it than that but, at the end of the day, it boils down to this. Stay true to your board is the mantra on the day. What’s at the “top” of the list at any given time is a crapshoot. It’s why we remind ourselves every offseason that the draft is a crapshoot. So, what’s to say the Dolphins 66% isn’t just the way things shook out for them? Not hard to imagine there were hots for defensive players taken before their picks. Just sayin…
  10. Fun fact for the kiddie-winkies… The Redskins, 1991 Super Bowl champion O-line gave up only 9 sacks that season! Uh huh, that’s right. 9 in 16 games… Chew on that… You’re welcome 🙏
  11. Mine too.. The SB win over Denver and qtr 2 is a very, very close 2nd but the strike shortened season yada yada.. But seriously, that 1991 team was lights out good!
  12. Shades of Alex Smith, the check down king. That TD to the corner was a thing of beauty, tho.. PS. I could have specified a corner but Purdy served an ace to both sides so, take your pick I guess..
  13. No criticism at all for wanting to play.. only for being on the field at the wrong time.
  14. Is it? Being in the wrong place at the wrong time creates problems and potential for negative consequences. It just suggests the mental game is not on a par, which is understandable given he’s missed so much action. Still, he came out without a scratch and certainly made his presence felt so it’s certainly a successful debut for him
  15. Jamin Davis needs to be included on the studs list. That fumble he caused was the turning point. Sure the Logan Thomas TD was big but Denver is rolling and in range to extend their already big lead if Davis doesn’t squash them and get them the ball back. Just my 2 cents..
  16. @2.20mins.. ”What’s going on here defensively? I don’t know”… Doesn’t exactly inspire confidence in the abilities as a wannabe authority but I went on to the end and enjoy making my own conclusions.
  17. Just finished watching the first season of Severance on AppleTV and OMG is it good!!! Briefly described as drama, dystopian, psychological thriller and sci-fi, it’s addictive from the start and only gets better. The season ender was one of the most riveting pieces of TV I can remember in a long time. Can’t say enough about it. Just in case you’re put-off by the sci-fi tag, it’s not that kind of sci-fi… It’s filmed in up-state NY using normal people living normal lives. Well, some of them may be… HIGHLY recommended! PS: Just realized there’s a 2006 film by the same name. This is a 2022 production
  18. I think this is how it will shake out as long as you’re playing Armah as a TE. I wouldn’t keep Hodges over Alex..
  19. Armah one nano-second away from squaring his shoulders and carrying his defender into the end zone
  20. I love that you were/are a bass player but more impressed by your choice of tune to rock to!
  21. I’m sorry but for pure entertainment, Clue was garbage compared to Muppet Treasure Island! And no, he’s still with us. Not all well though… I think he’s had a few strokes.
  22. Seemed like the right thing to do at the time. I’m very partial to symmetry, I guess.
