Right?! Winning a SB is extremely hard. (It's like that in every sport though imo) So many things have to break your way. Could TH take us to a SB? Sure, you put an elite (or at lease elite for that season) defense with a strong O-Line and surround him with weapons and he could take you to the SB. He also could lose 1st round in the playoffs if the other team gets up by 14 due to a muffed punt resulting in a short field TD and a bad pass interference call setting them up with a 1st and goal from the 5. You put Aaron Rodgers on your team and you could be in the playoffs every year but have to play a playoff game on the road in Seattle where it's 33 degrees with a windy rain and impossible to throw the ball. I guess my point is that I see what RR wants to do here. Have a team with a really strong front 7 on D, a great O-Line, and a culture that has you in every game. Most years you will be around 9-7 (or 9-8 now days). Sometimes you will get the breaks and finish 11-6. Sometimes the breaks will go against you and you will finish 7-10. Set that table though and then put the ultra talented QB at the head and now your ceiling is 13-14 wins and the floor is 9-10. Keep drafting talent. Let them learn your system and your culture. Sign guys like Carter and Leno that have something to prove. Stay the course. To borrow a phrase from the Carolina Hurricanes over the past few years when they lost a game or two in a row: We. Are. Fine.

Counter argument. 66% of the QBs to win multiple SBs were drafted 1st overall. Counter to the counter. 41% of the SBs won by multiple SB winning QBs were won by guys drafted after the 5th round!

There is a future HOF QB that comes out in the draft almost every year. Just select that one and be done with it. And if this happens to be the year where there isn't one then don't draft a QB. It's really pretty simple when you boil it down.

Attending OTA's can be the difference between an All Pro and just being a really good player.

That's a lazy take. Chase Young is a local player who was drafted #2 and thought to be the one to lead the defense for the next 10 years / help turn this team around. He was fantastic the second part of last year and was on track to do all the things we are hopeful he will do. He wants to be a team leader. He wants to win. He wants to win in DC. He skipped OTA's. The team leader was one of the only players to skip OTA's. Chase Young has gotten off to a rough start this season and was asked if not being at OTA's was part of the reason he has gotten off to a rough start. It's not like these dates are unknown to the players. His response was that he was "out making money. Gotta make that money." The Defensive team leader said instead of working to perfect his craft and, you know, be a team leader by showing up at the OTA's, he was "out making money. Gotta make that money."

Can you imagine the NFL forcing Dan to sell the team and transfer it to St. Louis to avoid a court hearing and multi billion dollar judgment against the owners?

You have to treat it like a political campaign or lobbying. You need a face of the movement. Someone to be in front of the media advocating for the sale of the team. You need marketing, money, advertising on why it needs to happen. You need to engage with the media and news outlets to provide evidence, coax them along. You need legal, its going to get messy. You need your advocates to realize once you go for Dan, he's going to come for you. Be ready. The message is going to attempt to be changed from why Dan should sell to why you are evil/what your past looks like. You need to apply pressure to the sponsors (team and NFL). Its not really a hard playbook and raising the money wouldn't be terribly difficult.

If people truly want to see the team sold, it's not difficult to sketch out what needs to happen.

My Theory: Paul Murdaugh was a psychopath and his dad had covered up for him over the years. My kids elementary school has a fairly large middle eastern population. Listening to them talk about where they are from / what they have been through. But its also a lot of 1st generation or families that are still working to become Americans so maybe its a distorted view. I dont know to many Taliban sympathizers here tbh. Lol

I still doubt its "most". Maybe 20~30%? But then say maybe 10~20% are totally opposed to it and willing to die to stop it and the other 50-70% just want to stay alive.

I think a lot do not. But I also get the mentality of keeping your head down and working to get your family out to a better situation. You could make a pretty good argument that about 1/3rd of our elected officials are religious fundamentals.

No doubt but the ones that are gaming the system are the ones that would skip a lease early / get evicted / trash the property / cause problems /etc. in normal times. There are countless rental assistance programs out there, and while it does take a month or two to get the check in, they cover 6 months of rent. I dont believe it to be as bad as some people try to make it out to be but then again a report that says "most people are able to find rental assistance but some people are still being assholes and gaming the system" is way less clickbait.
