  1. Also... it's Los Angeles. Trust me, the only people who dress up are agents (and they're not happy about it).
  2. If we move on from Wentz and go with a rookie/Heiney/Howell, we should have plenty of money to sign Payne. In the end, the odd man out could be Young. We'll see. Payne has showed far more.
  3. LOL. You haven't watched or you are just biased. None of those other QBS have close to the physical skills Caleb does. He's a FREAK. Heisman this year. Look at that roster. The line is full of high priced guys doing nothing. Complete lack of weapons. The Indy beat guys think Ballard is a fraud.
  4. Well it clearly worked out for the best! For Minnesota. And the bank accounts of Ron's friends.
  5. Suffering through the Turner experience once again made me think of Kevin O'Connell and how good Haskins looked under him in those last two games of his rookie year. Especially compared to how he looked under Turner. Also, how good KOC is at game management. Riverboat Ron -- who didn't want KOC because he didn't have the most important thing on his resume (working with Ron before) -- sure could learn a thing or two from him.
  6. The league is putting their foot on his throat with all these articles on ESPN. INJECT IT INTO MY VEINS.
  7. A.J. Perez's "sources" appear to beat writers reporting the same stuff earlier and then making stuff up out of thin air.
  8. 6 billion if Danny makes you keep the name. 7 billion if you can name it yourself. Other thoughts... AJPerez is a joke. I am so happy. Danny must have been told something by Goodell. Leaned on basically.
  9. Well it's not like Moseley was the only kicker in history to win the league's MVP (while rocking a sweet perm) so what does junior care? Come on, young man! The culture is good!
  10. A win is a win. IF Wentz needs some elite offensive line to be good not even great, what's the point? Thank God we can move on easy. Taylor is Taylor -- his arm will forever limit him, but his teammates love him and they look like a better team with him under center. Certainly Terry prefers him. Hopefully Taylor can provide some more fun while we get Howell ready for his eventual chance.
  11. Season is all but over. Start Taylor while we get Howell more reps in practice. When season is officially over, get him in. Wentz is who he is. Meaning not the answer. Just doesn't see things.
  12. This report helps shield owners from potential dirt -- they can say Danny is just a lunatic. That said, Jimmy Haslam is a legit crook. How he can own a team is beyond me.
  13. He's a league-wide embarrassment. He is making the other owners look bad. Articles like this are our best hope.
  14. He didn't get it done because the calls were subpar at best, and our idiot coach blew a time out on a stupid challenge, meaning we couldn't even think of running the ball. Wentz is fine. Not great, not terrible. Fine. I'm certainly glad we were rebuffed by Wilson.
  15. Hell no! I'd do exactly what he's been doing. Hire my buddies, have fun with them while taking them sweet Snyder checks.
  16. Either Ron threw his hand-picked QB under the bus... or he made a terrible gaffe while trying to make excuses for his coaching performance -- or lack there of -- this season. Either way, I'm once again wondering what Ron is good at.
  17. The season is all but over. Guess I can look forward to -- 1) The media going after Rivera harder and harder as his thin skin keeps showing. This ain't Carolina, buddy. BUCKLE UP. 2) The stadium being so empty that the league realizes they have two options 1) Let Dan own the team, never get a stadium built and therefore keep losing the owners money or 2) vote Dan out, get sued, but have a new owner come in, get a SoFi stadium built in a great location, one that actually might have a chance at being packed with fans, who are overjoyed that Danny is gone.
  18. What is Ron good at? Serious question. Seems like a good person. Players like him -- they don't quit on him. Other than that? He's not the DC. He's not the OC. He's truly terrible at challenging plays. His game management... yikes. And he's whiffed tremendously on some signings (along with his Carolina cronies). And remember, we were the other team who desperately wanted Russell Wilson! That's the only goods news of the year so far -- RW passing on our dumpster fire and saving us two firsts. This season is basically over six weeks in. It's incredible. AND he's thin-skinned. Well, buckle up, Riverboat, because the more prickly you get the more the media -- rightfully in this case -- is going to come after you. The bloom is so off Ron's rose. Meanwhile, we have an owner who keeps finding new ways to look bad. How could one possibly trust him to find the right new GM, coach, etc... It's so brutal. Really feels like the only hope is for the other owners in the league to save us.
  19. The Russell Wilson trade is such a disaster that I'm just surprised the Commanders weren't involved. Saved by being a dumpster fire he didn't want to join. Multiple firsts, a massive deal... he's not good anymore.
  20. Pretty sure he would still get the challenge flag out faster than Ron. And it's not like Ron calls plays on either side of the ball. So, you know, Dead Fassel for Coach.
  21. He's not taking ownership of anything. I hate it. Dude has complete control. Yes, we've had injuries. They've mattered more than they should because of decisions made by Ron and company. I wanted Wentz to work, but come on, are any of us truly surprised that Philly and Indy were right and we were wrong? Who would have thought? Under Ron, we start slow, often get blown out, then have a meaningless late season run. And then he makes no real coaching changes -- be it the actual coaches or how he coaches. Maybe we should scrimmage another team for a change during camp? Nope -- let's just stick with what's not working. The only reason Ron sticks around is because Danny probably doesn't want to fire anyone. Will just get more scrutiny from the league -- how many reboots should an owner who has absolutely destroyed a lucrative market get? I doubt the other owners would vote him out, but it would increase the chance of it. If I'm Ron, I start thinking seriously of cutting bait with Carson. His issues seem set in stone. Move on -- sunk Cost. At least be prepared for it. Then roll with Taylor with the idea you get a look at Howell at some point if the offensive line stabilizes.
  22. Infuriating. I've seen and heard more than enough from Ron to know he's not the answer. Nice man, I'm sure. But the failures are on him. This isn't Jay, where he wasn't allowed to pick the groceries.
