  1. Daredevil season 3 is that series' best season, and imo, the best season of all the Marvel Netflix shows.
  2. I see we are right on track for our usual disappointment and disgust every October. Good times, good times.
  3. Yet another officer using their badge and authority to sexually abuse women. Wasn't there a study posted in here some time back that showed LEOs had a higher rate for sexual assault and domestic violence than the average citizen?
  4. I didn't like the season premiere, despite the actress who plays Nora being super hot.
  5. I'm not enjoying the second season of The Gifted, and really hated the second season of Legion.
  6. Check out @nypost’s Tweet: We knew this was going to happen. I'm mad that police chief said that murderer deserves a second chance. He already had a second chance! And he took that second chance and killed Tamir Rice with it. Sick of reading the bull**** from these morons.
  7. I made that exact point months ago and people(not here) acted like I was just being an uptight comic nerd.
  8. Frank Dillane would be a great Gambit. And I agree, JLaw was better suited for Rogue and she probably enjoy the role more. Unfortunately, after her doing 4 movies as Mystique I don't think any recasting of Rogue could include her without confusing the hell out of the casual audience. Maybe they can cast someone like Lily James, a known actress but unlikely to become a megastar. Not that Marvel Studios has had any issues allowing stars to dominate the movie.
  9. I am not going to care about a single X-Men movie until they stop making Mystique out to be an X-Man simply because Jennifer Lawrence is portraying her. Fox could never stop pandering to the big stars to the detriment of the story. Thankfully this is the last X-Men travesty we have to endure before Marvel Studios revives the X brand.
  10. That is an interesting angle that was cultivated for years and eventually explored with the Avengers vs X-Men event. After that was over, Captain America admitted the Avengers hadn't done enough to help human/mutant relations, even while having mutants on their teams at times.
  11. Maybe Fury was just lying to protect the many secrets he knows. Imagine the can of worms he'd open if he dropped hints to other beings just as powerful as Thor that he wasn't aware of, instead of simply pretending to ignorant of what was in the galaxy.
  12. Also, I agree with @stevemcqueen1 on the Netflix shows being of less quality although I did find most of them enjoyable. Inhumans was complete garbage and the worst superhero show ever created. But I disagree completely about Agents of Shield. That show is the best comic TV show on television right now. It does bear similarities to Buffy in dialogue and it's cast of characters, but hey, Buffy isn't considered one of the best shows ever for nothing. Agents has been way more enjoyable than the cookie cutter, by the numbers, filler episodes to prop up the movies kind of show it was in the first season.
  13. Carol Danvers was Ms Marvel for a very long time, didn't start calling herself Captain Marvel until less than a decade ago. And the original Captain Marvel was a dude, kind of a Superman wannabe like many Marvel characters were versions of more popular DC characters back then. I believe Carol was a love interest of his before inheriting his powers. She has a very interesting and sometimes bizarre history.
  14. Exactly. That PoS is the first leader of the KKK. Why the hell should there ever be a monument to that trash?
  15. He's actually really good at portraying the Flash, but Snyder basically killed any chance of those actors to ever be in the DCEU or that those stories are in the same universe. Which I think is a major issue with how they've operated and their future plans. The overall audience has been sold on the MCU, so trying to half ass it with the DCEU and have the tv shows be it's own separate Arrowverse just confuses the casual audience. Never mind that the rumored Joker origin movie and Harley Quinn movies might not be in the same universe, and even diehard DC fans are simply confused.
  16. We see this song and dance in literally every major city in this country and you still want to believe it happens due to "the actions of a few"? I'm not saying they are all corrupt, but we need to let go of the fairy tale that it's just a few bad apples. More like a few bad orchards.
  17. Also, I edited a post I made some days ago suggesting she probably was intimate with the victim. But I edited it once the police came out and said they ruled out her knowing him ahead of time. Now that we have witnesses claiming they heard her say "let me in", that theory is back in play.
  18. Interesting, that we get leaks that the victim had weed in his apartment. Like I'm going to believe that wasn't planted there, but whatever. Yet zero information on if Amy's fingerprints are in his bedroom or bathroom, you know, places that would prove she'd been there before and this clearly wasn't a mistake. Nah, we'll never hear anything like that. Since it would suggest they are actively investigating the crime and not just trying to cover their own ass.
  19. I liked the ending. This season was much better than the previous one. Next season I'd like to see even less of Ward and Joy, and a resolution to the Colleen and Danny stuff.
  20. Edit: nvm, I see reports see saying her knowing the victim have been proven false.
  21. I'm not there, yet. But I barely recognized Alice Eve. It wasn't too long ago she was, IMO, one of the hottest actresses in Hollywood. She got old, fast. I do believer her performance has been good though. Kinda surprised she's been able to pull it off.
  22. My pregame has largely been the same. But the same ppl who didn't stand during the anthem, talked to friends and family while it was being performed, or decided to go take a leak or get some food during it are now incensed over black players taking a knee. I went to the Skins/Browns game a couple years ago when the protests during the anthem first got started. I had to shake my head at the number of who spent more time looking at who was and wasn't standing than actually paying attention and singing the anthem. If these same people don't want the troops to be disrespected they should be caring about them a lot more often than 2 minutes on a Sunday afternoon.
  23. It's funny, because the conservatives never find any peaceful protest about this issue acceptable. Clearly, you only want protest that don't put the issue up front and in your face, because you'd much rather ignore it and pretend it doesn't exist. Like many white Americans have done for decades. When it's Sunday, while you're relaxing trying to watch football, and you watch more and more players kneeling, you can't ignore it and that pisses you off. What other reason can there be? The narrative has been it's "disrespectful to the troops", yet when veterans say they don't think it's disrespectful and the fact a veteran told Kaep to do it that way, it's ignored. People who are angry about this simply don't want to address the reason for the protest, and they are angry that these lesser-than Americans have the audacity to complain about anything in "our" country.
  24. You say this, without any evidence that the shooter in this case consistently played first person shooter games.
