Warhead36
I saw George Lopez at MGM last May. He's still great. He's doing a show at MGM in a couple weeks with Cedric the Entertainer, DL Hughley, and Eddie Griffin. I'd check out Marlon Wayans special on Netflix too. I went to that, was taped at MGM, and he's great.

Elessar78
As far as obscure comics, I found 2 I like in that new Netflix series. Nate Bargatze and Taylor Tomlinson. Tomlinson is currently touring with Conan and Bargatze is touring by himself.

First I found him on a short episode of the Netflix series called "Standups", which featured about 10 episodes, of about 30 minute clips of different comedians. Now he has a new special of his own on Netflix, and he does not disappoint. Mulaney is good, too.
PCS
Gabriel "Fluffy" Iglesias has been a recent favorite. I'll have to make some time and find a way to go see him live. Local Hotel/Casino has a few comedy nights each year so I definitely want to go to one of those this year.

Your radar must be way up. How do you even know Bargatze is conservative? Because he's from Nashville? Because he doesn't swear a lot? I think I've watched two specials of his and listened to two standup albums on Spotify. Didn't really get a hint of his political leaning. Anyway, Kyle Kinane is on the Standups on Netflix. Funny set.

He talked a lot about being from the south, etc. That made me perk up and research him because I was intrigued. You can find articles and interviews where he mentions that he is conservative. HIs comedy is cool because he isn't punching down like a lot of conservative comedians do.

Malapropismic Depository
Nate Bargatze is awesome if you like the dry humor type, but he is the worst when it comes to the comic habit of inserting "Uhhhhhhh !!!!!!" after each and every punchline, to fill the space. His is so blatantly obvious and almost exaggerated, it almost makes me wonder if he's exaggerating it on purpose.

Malapropismic Depository
I just found this guy. Yea. He was lost. But I found him. And he's super funny, and he's clean, and he totally understands what it means to be a cat-person as opposed to a dog-person. He does the perfect "dog face".
