PCS
Ok. Things are better now. We have a Sirius radio rumor. That should complete things right there.
Art
Honestly, I'd be ok with this if true. That's big value for Moss and it would further send a message that Gibbs isn't kidding around. I think Moss could have a big year, so if he's here I'll be happy too, but, if this happened to occur, I'd support it and understand why and be somewhat surprised by how much value in return it provided. Doozinbrah
Never a dull moment, I came on this morning thinking people would be ranting about rumors that the Skins would be going after Campbell. Moss for the #22 I think would be a great trade if in fact it is true.

Zen-like Todd
Hahahaha.... and you all thought we would have a boring offseason. I am really NOT all that surprised if this turns out to be true.
G-Prime
No way in hell this is true.. One year left on his contract.. no one is going to do that trade.
fansince62
if it were true it does strongly suggest one thing since it is very unlikely the Skins will have $$$ for 3 first round picks: a package deal to move up in the draft IOT select the WR they covet.... da#1skinsfan
I cant imagine the Ravens doing this, thats all. He isnt worth a 1st round pick.

Art
I believe this was a joke thread over at CPND. I hope I'm wrong there. PC is a respected poster else I wouldn't have paid this any mind, but, reading the responses there and PC's own reply with a link pointing to "chicken little" I take it they let him have a little fun with that post and it is not true. It would be interesting if it WERE true .
Major Harris
finally, a rumor i could live with!
SkinsFTW
Dude, Moss for the #22 pick would be sweet. Too bad the Ravens wouldn't do it. I mean the guy wasn't worth that as a rook and he hasn't exactly burt up the league since then. But if it's true then chalk one up for Gibbs and Co. Dead Money
I went over there, that guy is suspect. In the same thread that he posted the "rumor" he posted a link to "the article" which was the Chicken Little movie by Dsiney. :bsflag:

Based on money, it does no such thing. The contract signed by a #22 pick will be significantly less than any extension Moss receives. It would be a win against the cap. DC_Skins
I am thinking that Moss will not be a redskin, He will be traded for some value.. He has burned his bridge with gibbs already not showing up for VP.
Zen-like Todd
Well, so much for this thread.
fansince62
zen....wrong...I know full well that a higher round pick costs more...the point was that a package trade would reduce two first round picks into one first round pick. depending on how the higher contract is written it may or may not cost out more. In the long run, two first rounders who become productive would almost certainly cost more in the aggregate.
Samuels60
Art is right, the guy over at CPND is very reliable when it comes to the cap numbers, and a story here and there. He is also famous for his bullsh*t post, and so many fall, fall, fall for it. Not Andyman by anymeans
