Brendan Haywood...

Seriously though,

there needs to be a lot more people on there, you should have checked out the International Boxing hall of fame and looked for some names.

Jack johnson, Rocky Marciano, and Joe Lewis all deserve a chance to be picked , as do many others.

I could never pick a best though, it wouldn't be fair.

Instead of looking to add more people to your poll, why don't you delete the thread and put it in the proper forum...Tailgate...

We try to keep a clean forum here

Looks like the list is all heavyweights, but he was my first thought.

Maybe the poll should read, "Who's the best heavyweight fighter of all-time?"

I chose Ali, of course. I never saw a man over 200 pounds move like that. "The Greatest."

The problem with your list is that you have too many heavyweights on the list.Mike Tyson in his prime was one of my favorite fighters, but he was way overrated.Besides,he lost 2 fights to Holyfield and 1 to Lennix Lewis, the other 2 prominate heavyweights of his era.

Here's my list:

1.Ray Robinson

2.Jack Johnson

3.Joe Lewis

4.Ali

5.Hagler

6.Hopkins

7.Tunney

8.Leonard

9.Holyfield

10.Trinadad

Wheres RJJ?

There's a WHOLE lot of boxers that should have been listed as choices but weren't, RJJ is not one of them.

This is really something that has to be broken down by weight classes and/or eras, all-time is WAY too hard.

Ali was a Jack Johnson wannabe.

It's true that Ali worshipped Jack Johnson. But Ali (circa 1967) was faster with his hands, just as skillfull, and MUCH faster with his feet than Johnson.

This is why every boxing magazine I've read has Ali rated #1 among heavyweights.
