Oldskool
What do you think we do if the draft goes down like this: 1. San Diego - Manning 2. Oakland - Winslow II 3. Arizona - Taylor 4. N.Y. Giants - Gallery Who would you draft?
Commander Adama
Trade down, if we couldn't then Ben Roethlisberger.
Jimbo
Accept trade offers for Fitzgerald. If we don't get an offer that keeps us in the top 12 then we take Fitz.
BlitzFiftySix
Trade down.
Art
Have to try to trade down HARD. But, if that seems less likely, you have to move Ramsey for a pick and take Big Ben or move Gardner for a pick and take Fitzgerald. In this case you might even have to reach for defensive line help. illone
Grab Stephen Jackson..... a few teams who have some draft picks to spare want him (NE, Philly).
Dirk Diggler
J-ville would offer us an S-load for Fitzgerald. They have a few extra picks if I'm not mistaken. So we could probably pick up a 3 and 4 or a 2 and a 5 to move down to #9. That would be a nice spot to get Harris or Udeze. :point2sky

Close - but don't try to trade. Take Fitzgerald and gloat. "This is the guy we wanted." Other teams will come calling. I love Miami's RFA DL and their next year's 1st round. Trust me - we will get calls about Gardner and Fitzgerald.
KDawg
We take Wilfork in that case... Trade down and take Wilfork.
wwninja420
Trade down nobody we want or need is left if that's the way it goes. Got to trade down to maybe the middle of the round. Get some extra picks, and maybe pick up Vilma, or Williams at linebacker... But who knows?!
SoCalSkins
Trade down take Wilfork. Then with the extra pick, take the PAC 10's best D Lineman in the second rd, Dave Ball.
semiskin
Take Fitz and field offers. Or just trade down.

Mr. S
some other team needs Fitzgerald mroe than we do, trade down and go for the d-line prospect, plain and simple. Id take Udeze or Wilfork.
Kosher Ham
Why are so many of you guys so quick to trade Fitz ? Pick Big Ben or Fitz and Trade Ramsey or Gardner. Or the obvious trade down You either pick up a QB,WR with a fairly easy to deal with cap for the next 3 years. or You deal with a WR, QB who will demand a High salary in the next couple of years. The'BurghBrotha
I'd try to trade down. If not definitely take Fitzgerald. You could then create some sorta deals with Gardner and Ramsey. If you could trade down take any elite pass rusher left. If not maybe a Miami LB or Harris. I'd say Wilfork but he scares me. Kinda reminds me of Gerard Warren. jmwills1
I think we trade down if we can get alot of picks or some help on the dline. If we dont get a good enough offer, take taylor, although Fitz would be awfully tough to pass on.
tex
A lot of quality left on the board in that scenario. It will be hard to pass on Big Ben or Fitz. Ramsey didn’t do enough to quiet his agent when Brunell came in which showed a huge lack of team spirit. After the pounding he took last year he may have said to himself “rain on it” and decided to go somewhere else that would protect him a little better. Who would blame him? Even so, I’d take Ben and deal Ramsey as the first option. Second option would be to take Fitz and deal Gardner. Third option, deal down. Basically the same take as some of the other posters here. warren
Gotta trade down and grab DL.
jonjeff
No brainer man, Larry Fitzgerald. We would be very lucky if Fitz was still on the board at #5. He and Coles would be unstoppable. I would snap him up in a heartbeat.
Nighthawk
The question was, "who would you draft." With that being the case I would take WR Larry Fitzgerald and try and trade Gardner for a pick. I don't believe you can trade a drafted player during the actual draft so we can't pick him and then trade him for other picks while the draft is going on. Trevor
In my mind there are 6 or 7 elite prospects in this draft and then a huge dropoff to the second tier. So with that said I'd either take Fitzgerald or try to trade down as far as possible while getting as many picks as you can. I think there is very little difference between the guys available in the mid 20's and the players likely available at #8.
pennyizer
If Fitz is available this is a no brainer. People are saying this kid is the best wideout to come out in years. I would have to think about this kid if he is available even if Taylor/Winslow is available.
Griff
I would have to go with Fitzgerald, and then work out a trade for missing pieces.
NavyDave
Michael Iring was saying that Williams is better out of his cuts that Fitzgerald and how D Hall of va tech and S Taylor gave him fits. So I'd hype fitz trade down and grab a D Tackle and DE babin (sp) in the second round
