How you don't mention him and tie him to the national party by saying they want to duplicate his plans nationwide. You're forcing them to either defend him or deny it and throw him under the bus. Some simply can't do that. You have some of these people who couldn't get enough Benghazi calling for the end of any Trump/Russia probe.
visionary
Yeah, but do current Republicans or swing voters outside Kansas know about him or care about him? Edited June 11, 2017 by visionary

They don't have to at first. You keep repeating it. "These policies are the same failed ones that have destroyed Kansas. Now they want to do it nationwide?" You present it like everyone knows. Nobody wants to admit being stupid and not knowing if they are yanking for their team on cable news.
twa
Sounds like a plan. Should work for the failing blue states as well. How do you screw up Connecticut so bad with all the educated folk there? https://www.mercatus.org/statefiscalrankings can you find Kansas on a map

@DCGoldPants
Didn't want to start a thread for just this. Maybe he should call his movement the "New Confederacy"

That's when an unidentified person in a pickup truck threw a full soda container at him. Treiman said he was hit in the back as he turned to shield the child he was holding. Treiman said the man who threw the can yelled "liberal scumbag" before driving away from the scene. While Treiman didn't report the incident to police, he said two Binghamton police detectives showed up at his home Wednesday morning. He said the investigators said they were told to check on the condition of him and his family." There's either more to the story or there's something wrong with this man's judgement. @DCGoldPants
Regardless of outcome. Dems should seize on this and invite press in to speak with them in camera in the hallways non-stop. Be as accessible as possible. Let the others look like they are hiding.

@DCGoldPants
Every time I think Rubio has hit rock bottom at a elected official, American, and Man. He finds a new way to go lower. You were completely embarrassed by the guy who is President. He taunted you. Taunted your manhood. But here you are. Sweating in another photo-op next to the guy. History will be very unkind to him...... And he earned it.

@DCGoldPants
Until we see something different happen. Never underestimate the ability of people to vote against interests of themselves and their communities.
dfitzo53
Setting aside who we think people should vote for, I think we're going to see this happen often, and probably in 2018 as well. In early polls in historically "red" areas people will report favoring the Democrat because they're unhappy with the current direction of things, don't like Trump, etc. But when push comes to shove and they're standing in the voting booth, I would bet a lot of them deep down have a hard time not pulling the lever for a Republican. It's very easy for people of any political stripe to rationalize whatever decision their gut leads them to.
