CBass1724
Alright everyone, let's get those votes in! We have some Redskins on this list we need to vote for: Joe Jacoby, Jim Lachey, Brian Mitchell, and Richie Petibon. The Pro Football Hall of Fame's selection process for the Class of 2017 has officially begun. The 48-person committee compiled an initial list of 94 modern-era nominees from which these 25 semi-finalists were selected. This list will be further reduced to the 15 finalists, who will be unveiled in January. http://www.nfl.com/labs/rr/halloffame/2017 Click the link to go vote
zoony
I don't think there's ever been a better LT for the Redskins than Lachey. He was a monster cant really remember how long his career was though Was the trade for Lachey a Gibbs or a Beathard move? Anyone know?
PCS
Beathard I believe. Edit. YEp. http://www.redskins.com/news-and-events/article-1/Redskins-Legacy-Shroeder-For-Jim-Lachey/28dc5034-5da1-4b01-abbc-2a9a152eceb9

You know, the Skins have had some great LT's - Jake, Lachey, Chris Samuels and Trent. What a shame there hasn't been always been a high quality team around the recent ones. Would be very surprised if Lachey makes it - 10 year career, with last three hobbled by injuries. Great LT though. My fingers crossed for Jake - great guy, great work ethic, great story. MarkB452
Did them and showing some love for Larry Centers, Shawn Alexander, Henry Ellard, and Carl Banks (Banks was kinda iffy) McNabb and Jason Taylor???? Oh hell NO. Huge waste of cap space. Why is BMitch in Giants uniform? Why is Petibon listed only as a coach? Heck, he played on the Bears 1963 Championship team. Centers and Mitchell could be based on being rare specialist. Banks is also a fringe guy who was fortunate to play alongside one of the best. Yes on Ellard and agree on McNugget and Taylor. I really hope this is the year for Jacoby. And perhaps if Pettibone gets in it will remind Danny that this team can't go anywhere with Joe Barry as the DC. goskins10
Well at least one good thing happened that I think we can all get behind - Joe Jacoby has made the 15 finalists list! I hope he makes it into the HOF! He deserves this honor! http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000769131/article/pro-football-hall-of-fame-class-of-2017-finalists
rdskn4eva
Joe Jacoby - Should have been in the Hall already - dude had to face LT twice a year and was a standout on arguably the greatest Oline the NFL has ever seen. Jim Lachey - Was dominant for abut 4 years but longevity hurts him I think. Brian Mitchell - Great returner but returners dont get into the hall and if one does, its going to be Devin Hester Richie Petibon - I dont want to see one coordinator get into the hall before Don Coryell

Riggo-toni
3 rings and the Skins broke the SB rushing record TWICE with two different RBs. Not to mention Riggins breaking the rushing TD season record, the offense breaking the scoring record, allowing only 11 sacks in 91 - 2 of which were in a garbage game played with backups.... Unforgivable that Joe J is not in the HoF. More glaring than the previous omission of Art Monk.
